Our visit to this place wasn't much fun. It is designed for no one else but tourists, people who travel to agra for tourism. Thats why they have different menu and pricing for locals and tourists. After the visit at the Taj, we needed to have something to eat after 2pm. Not easy around this time. But we were positively surprised by the Khandelaa Restaurant were we got good indian dishes and Lassi for reasonable prices. We can really recommend to go there.

We short listed the Sai Khandella for three reasons - hygienic kitchen, quality food and quality service. We were proved correct. Best for stomach and best for money. Keep it up.

Food was well-made and tasty, service excellent. We had their spicy gaulti lamb kebab which is quite spicy and strong, followed by spicy kadai chicken and a white murg pepper chicken curry. The khandela naan with cheese and onion on top is excellent.

On the night we went we were the only ones there, so the restaurant lacked much of an atmosphere. However the service was excellent and the food brilliant, tasty and good portions. Would really recommend it as a place to eat - especially if you are in need of something other than curry by this stage in your trip.

Try the tandoori kebabs....which are really good. Ask for Ramit (the owner) who is really friendly and will help you choose the best dishes.

We ordered vegetarian soups and starters. All of them were good. But the prices seemed to be bit high despite the fact that I come from Delhi/Noida where most of the restaurants are expensive. They do not serve hard-drinks any more!
