Mouth watering and delicious food, great service.....

We reached Madurai around 9am after a non stop 4 hours drive, tired and starving. Right from Theni, we were looking for a decent place to have breakfast. Drove past Usilampetti, but unfortunately we didn't find any good joint. We were searching for our hotel were we had booked our stay and suddenly... read more

Not so great surroundings. But the food more than makes up for it. Worth a visit to this very popular small eatery. Buy bottled water, clean the utensils with a tissue paper for sure.

2/2 trips to Madurai and amazing lunches at Sree sabarees. Easy to miss as the place is small but quick, quality service and the distinct taste of the kozhumbu, rasam and other accompaniments makes my visit special everytime.

The food was brilliant and a pure veg restaurant. But it lacks some cleanliness but it may be due to a never lasting que for a seat. I ordered a masala dosa and found its masala different from anywhere else. They gave five type of chutneys with it. If ever in madurai a must place for food.

Good quality food at a reasonable price. Waiters were eager to serve us. They have 3 to 4 branches and hence getting to one of them is not a problem. Whether it is lunch or the snacks, they were all very good. Served with a smile.

Had an excellent lunch today. Food was v good and served with warmth and hospitality. Lunch was just Rs 75 and that is great value for money. The place is short of space and the way local resident eats food can be quite nerving for those from other parts of India esp. North and west. Not with standing go with... More

I took the hotel right next to the restaurant and I didn't know how famous it was as it looked really simple. But I guess beauty is in simplicity. The best Idly breakfast that I have done anywhere including Kerala. It was so dirt cheap. For once I could not believe and understand how they were running the business. Amazing.
