Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying...
This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

The food here was some of the best we had in Rajasthan, so good we ate there twice!. I was starting to find some of the North Indian food too rich wilth the ghee, butter and makhni. This place made a very welcome change. Market fresh vegetables cooked to order. We had an excelent massala with potatoes peas and spinich,... More

Filthy glasses and silverware, entirely uninterested staff and food that is no healthier than anywhere else. Ignore the tourist-baiting 'organic vegan gluten-free' claptrap and go elsewhere.

If your looking for a place with a wide selection of healthy, nourishing food on your travels this place is it. Juices, wraps, salads and pizza's were very tasty. Relaxed quiet environment with good view.

Mouldy fruit, stale bread, blandest masala chai in India and a random 10 rupees added to our bill.... Excellent omelettes though. Not worthy of it's accolades.

Though the food offered here is good and not very expensive, the place lacks cleanliness. The washbasins are dirty, even the menu card offered to us had stains on it. If you are particular about cleanliness/hygiene, it will be a massive disappointment. However, I found a lot of foreigners here which I believe come here due to the comparatively lesser... More

We ate here twice and took a cooking class. Almost everything can be made vegan, which is a rare treat in India. The food is some of the healthiest you'll find. The vegan pancakes, pizza, dum aloo, and veg kebabs were our favorites. Most of the drinks look gross (they separate quickly) but are tasty. Try the lemon mint shot.... More

Learned to make the base for multiple curries, delicious dipping sauces and bread. Sunni is easy to understand and friendly. Excited to cook back home. Highly recommend.

We liked the staff and the rooftop view, but the food was just, well, super disappointing. A friend recommended Millets of Mewar and we loved their emphasis on healthy ingredients...until we got the food. Such a let-down. The milet chapatis are twice the price, with essentially no difference in taste from the normal chapatis. (Not worth the price.) The Dum... More

We dined here quite a few times while in Udaipur. The coffee is not the best. Go up the road to Satori cafe if you want good coffee. I ate the musli and fruit most mornings which was nice although only had two fruits until I requested more. Two fruits does not make a fruit salad. The staff are friendly... More
