Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying...
This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

Good Rajasthani Thali

We happened to go here by chance and ordered the Thali's on the menu. The service was a very slow, but the food more than made up for it. A good spread of authentic Rajasthani dishes with millet roti, rice, salads + lassi, all in good quantity. The tea was excellent and we even carried their... read more

I reaaaally recommend Millets for all the people coming to Udaipur. I've been here for 5 months and it's one of the best restaurants around. I like to go at least 2 times each week. The food is really good and the owners are friendly, they are always looking for giving you the best.

I went here in low season and had an absolutely delicious paneer wrap - one of the nicest things I've eaten while being here (and I've eaten a lot of great things!) However, that night I was quite ill and I think it may have been this restaurant (I ate little else that day apart from a pancake at my... More

I'd heard about this place but didn't realise where it was until we arrived at our accommodation to find it right next door. Win win! Went there both mornings for breakfast and was not disappointed. Slightly more expensive than other places (taxes are extra) but worth it. It was so good to have something so fresh and healthy. The vege... More

I loved this place. The food was really great. A bit pricey though. But they have vegan and gluten-free options, and one day I was fortunate enough to be there when they were taste-testing (got some free food). I went to the place 4-5 days in a row for lunch. Use to sit there for 2-3 hours, have food and... More

ne of the few restaurant in Udaipur offering healthy food, balanced and fair. The products used come from all the villages around, and the restaurant manager is very serious about quality. Most dishes are bios. And on top the view is great

I went at around 9 and the streets were caked with traffic from people going out or going home from work. The restaurant was slow, and had all tourists in it save one couple from India. That made the vibe a little more faux. I ordered their "famous" millet pizza and was not impressed, but maybe that's because I hate... More

We only ate here during our entire stay in Udaipur! Literally the best place to chill. Food was amazingly fresh and not at all greasy. Plenty of options whether you're a vegan, or eat gluten-free. They even had raw food as desert, so tasty! And affordable prices as well. We couldn't be happier than in this chilled atmosphere! We enjoyed... More

We really enjoyed our lunch at Millets of Mewar. The place was recommended to us by our hotel and it was a spot-on choice. I am personally not an enthusiast of vegan food but this was very tasty and perfectly cooked. The rice was one of the best we had in India and the "pizza", if you forget its classic... More
