Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying...
This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

We had a couple of sessions at Millets. Makes good pizza! Serves cheap beers. The local food was delish too. Chilled out place, different types of dining to suit your liking. Good wifi. Good music! Highly recommended

The restaurant has an excellent ambiance and the food is just perfect! But the best thing really is the cooking class with the owner Sunny!!! He thought us many cool dishes in a very light and easygoing environment!

We regret that we visited this restaurant the day before we left Udaipur, the reason being we loved the food. The pasta n pizza was exemplary. the service was not the fastest but we enjoyed the ambiance n didn't mind the delay. the food made up for the time lost. we regretted not tasting theiir thali n rotis/sabjis though :(

Went on lonely Planet recommendation and we were not disappointed. Healthy and different food options based on a philosophy of sustainability. Two different levels offering rooftop views with table and chairs or more traditional low tables and floor seating. Great service too. Highly recommended.

Millets is a really lovely restaurant, perfect for diners with dietary restrictions. We had breakfast here twice - would recommend the banana and date smoothie as well as the veg wrap. The muesli on the other hand was not enjoyable as it seemed to be strongly spiced with ginger.

The only place I've been confident to eat a salad and it was AMAZING. Also the only restaurant we all agreed on returning to. Am not used to such oily and spicy food so was such a good find. Amazing service and view too and not too expensive

The Restaurant is located near Hanuman Ghat foot Bridge. Being a Foodie, I was exploring different places to eat in Udaipur with my wife and Baby when this place was recommended by someone on the street. This was a really pleasant experience. Amazed to see a very unique concept of serving gluten free food, No Wheat or grains but using... More

I visited this restaurant in Udaipur after reading its rave reviews on Tripadvisor and am so happy that I did. The concept of this restaurant of offering vegan and gluten free food is very unique and interesting in itself. We found he thick Almond and Dates shake that is made with coconut milk, to be totally amazing and awesom'est..This restaurant... More

I don't know about you, but as a weak-stomached westerner, I was dying for a salad after a few weeks of traveling India! Millets washes all of their vegetables in filtered water, and has a healthy, modern flare to their menu items. Their spinach and beetroot salad, in particular, hit the spot. Prices were even better than I expected!

The mattresses and floor eating style is synonymous with the traditional style of dining in India. Went to Udaipur with a buddy of mine and the atmosphere in this restaurant was as chilled as it could get, had a nice conversation with who I think is the owner. The flavours of the food were absolutely on point. Loved it.
