Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

I've visited this restaurant for lunch a couple of days ago... I'm a full on carnivore, but thought I would give it a go... and I wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere is great, people chat away, nice music in the background...you can either sit on cushions on the 1st floor, or go up to the 2nd floor if you prefer tables... More

We ended up walking down to Millets of Mewar after a tiring round of the City Palace. Tucked away in a nondescript corner, the place was a cool delight. The fare is wholesome, filling and innovative. The kind of food you look at and think "I could have made this at home". In its simplicity lies its taste! the fresh... More

We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant and visited this one with the whole family after seeing the reviews on tripadvisor. We were not dissapointed (we even went back for another dinner)! The food was tasty, large variety of western and indian dishes, and the price was very reasonable (about 200-250 INR pp for food and drink with tax and... More

Abstract: the food is tasteless, expensive for what you get, service is careless and worse you can even get a very bad food intoxication. DO NOT GO THERE. We usually get very tasty food in (very) cheap indian restaurants (50 to 150 IDR for lunch or dinner) but sometimes we do go in more touristy places. And some are damm... More

Food tastes bland and is not at all authentic, not even the rotis. It is not suitable for families, as the whole place is full of smokers. The kitchen is dingy and the service is very slow. They served us stale vegetable curry. Horrible food!!

We came to millers of mewar on two occasions. First for lunch which was delicious (ate the sprouts, peanut salad, tacos and kebabs), second time for cooking class which was excellent. Ask for sonny :) we did however notice on both occasions that the young man waiting was somewhat aloof, and inattentive resulting in poor service for many customers including... More

Delicious healthy food (the two don't often go hand in hand together in India) and a supremely friendly owner. I can't remember his name, but remember having a chat with him on a number of occasions. He was keen to hear about my experience, what I thought his business was doing right and where it could improve. It's a great... More

My husband and I visited Udaipur recently and we were so happy to be staying just one door away from this great restaurant! The food was so good that we also did a cooking class with co-owner, Sunny. Although fairly short, we thoroughly enjoyed the class and got a lot out of learning new techniques and lovely recipes. He also... More

Such a great find, we went back multiple times and everything we had was delicious! Especially the cookie sandwich! Great for a break from oily food and awesome for those who are trying to avoid gluten ( a difficult task in India!!) .They also do takeaway food, perfect for train or bus trips. Laidback atmosphere and helpful staff :)
