Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying...
This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

Probably as good as it gets in Udaipur

I give this restaurant a relative 4star. Don't get too excited though. You can get eggs and cereal for breakfast, first plus. You can get half decent coffee and tea. The food is probably fairly healthy. On the negative, the service is strange (not friendly, and try to get you to order more and... read more

Millets of Mewar was very close to the hotel I was staying at (Udai Kothi) and we decided to take a walk to this lovely restaurant. Its in a small lane and you might have a hard time finding it, but the experience there will be worth it. Dont expect much glam, it is non-AC. Although we visited in peak... More

We ate at millets three times during our stay in Udaipur. On all occasions the food was absolutely delicious, and contrary to a number of reviews we've seen, we felt the food was great value for money and cheaper than a lot of other places around. We ate the veg wraps and potato cakes on our first visit and the... More

Lovely place for lunch. Near the lake with a little temple behind it, it is very chilled and the food was fantastic and well priced. Cashew nut curry and veg raita were our choices.

The ambience is nicely done and they have two floors. First floor as a ground seating arrangement and second floor as a table & chair for seating with nice view of Lake Pichola. Food is very good, though service is little slow, but then if you are looking for authentic Indian food, this is the place. we had ordered Garlic... More

Beautiful, healthy, creative, comfort, delicious food. The cookies are great! Had the bean sprout salad - lovely alternative to lots of curry. Comfy spot to hangout in the heat.

These guys care about making tasty, healthy and quality food. It's probably some of the best Veg and Vegan food I've ever had. They have excellent taste with their flavour combinations. I can understand why my friends in Australia insisted that I come here. This place is for everyone. Great prices with warm service in a really unique and chilled... More

Delicious fresh food! Really wish I had discovered this at the beginning of my stay so I could have worked my way down the menu. Decent prices and a beautiful view of the lake too.

We were absolutely gutted to only discover this place on our last night in Udaipur. The food is absolutely amazing but be patient as good food takes time. We had gotten used to speedy Indian restaurants and got a bit worried it took so long as we had a train to catch! Try the rice it is such a great... More
