Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying...
This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

Good Rajasthani Thali

We happened to go here by chance and ordered the Thali's on the menu. The service was a very slow, but the food more than made up for it. A good spread of authentic Rajasthani dishes with millet roti, rice, salads + lassi, all in good quantity. The tea was excellent and we even carried their... read more

great new experience with an exciting menu that is as good as it looks. the pizzas are reinvented with Indian spices and the millet dough is to die for. the roof top gives a spectacular view of the city palace lights at night and the first floor offers a lounge atmosphere for after dinner drinks. great dine.

The porridge with banana was quite tasty and the menu was interesting...nothing mind blowing but it's relaxing, healthy and good value. They are also redecorating the 2nd floor which looked promising!

My wife and I visited the Millets of Mewar restaurant recently with our toddler. We were bored of eating at our hotel everyday so decided to venture out to a local place. Tripadvisor and Google had decent ratings for Millets so we took our chances. At first when we arrived at the location, we thought we should reconsider and go... More

I did not like this restaurant at all. I think the pizza I ordered cooked in the microwave. The service was bad and I got cheated in the bill. Will not go back there.

I reaaaally recommend Millets for all the people coming to Udaipur. I've been here for 5 months and it's one of the best restaurants around. I like to go at least 2 times each week. The food is really good and the owners are friendly, they are always looking for giving you the best.

I went here in low season and had an absolutely delicious paneer wrap - one of the nicest things I've eaten while being here (and I've eaten a lot of great things!) However, that night I was quite ill and I think it may have been this restaurant (I ate little else that day apart from a pancake at my... More

I'd heard about this place but didn't realise where it was until we arrived at our accommodation to find it right next door. Win win! Went there both mornings for breakfast and was not disappointed. Slightly more expensive than other places (taxes are extra) but worth it. It was so good to have something so fresh and healthy. The vege... More
