Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

Relatively small and nice place with excellent view of the lake, serves a very good and typical Indian Vegetarian menu. The guests are mainly tourists and it has it's advantages, the food is not so spicy, though you can have it spicy if you like. Prices are fair, so if you like this kind of food you are going to... Having read that it specialises in healthy Indian food we were a bit disappointed when our curries arrived and were very oily. They were tasty but I wouldn't say healthy. The service wasn't brilliant as they forgot about our drinks order, forgot the honey for our honey tea and also forgot to give us plates to start with. However they... More

Really easy location to find, just over the bridge on the peaceful side of the lake, there are so many cheap cafe's to choose from in Udaipur but Millets of Mewar completely stood out from all the rest in our opinion. So much so we kept on returning while we were in Udaipur including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner,... More

A very nice place with a scenic view. Best place to have fresh juices in different flavours. The food is very good and reasonably priced. This place is a favourite for many foreign tourists. The service was also very good.

Just sitting there you feel more relaxed. The staff are very nice and polite. I had some Sri Lanka dal, it was average. The juice was very good, But the coffee.(esspresso) was not good at all. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway for an hour or two, this might be what you are looking for. :)

A nice place with a scenic outlook and good service. It is refreshing to see a variety of different things on offer here. There's a lot of different, healthy things to try. Food is a bit of a mixed bag though. I had one smoothie that was delicious but the same smoothie the day after was awful. I had some... More

We stumbled across this place by pure luck after doing an 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe' on where to eat in Udaipur. This place is cozy, delicious, and very laid back. The owner walked us through the menu and his smile and genuinity instantly won us over. The food was delicious and the company even better :-)) I would not hesitate... More

Organic food served here at cheap rate. You can find a similar type of cafe in leh, maclodeganj, hrishikesh etc. Food was fine, with less oil, but the basic difference i found in the cafe's of other tourist city and udaipur is the taste. Here all the foreign dishes are made in indian style having indian taste, which i have... More

A warm & friendly staff that serves wonderful, local, organic food. I've already eaten there twice, taken their excellent walking tour, and soon will experience their cooking class.
