Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying...
This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

Loved this place. It has very neat and quirky interior with a good view of lake Pichola. Food was absolutely fantastic. I was getting a little bit tired of too rich an saucy Indian curries so this place had a great alternative to it. Traditional Dal was absolutely fantastic light and rich in flavours same as their Cashew Curry with... More

We were staying in karohi haveli which isnearby to this place. We frequented this place for our dinners and were not disappointed. They serve some unique salads and other organic foodswhich you wont find anywhere else. Has a unique rustic ambience. Its excellent night views of city palace complemented the sumptuos food served by them.

We had lunch here twice, two days in a row. The first day was perfectly fine, we were so happy to have some salad as since in india we didn't have any raw veggies, and they write all over the menu they clean veggies with bottled mineral water. The second day we again had salad (both days my friend and... More

Ohk, so let me admit, I do believe in reading best restaurant lists on the net and going by them, and often they are right, but for Udaipur, they are probably written downwards up. Millets of mewar, located near the Lake Pichola(no view), in a small bylane, on the first floor, is an Indian experience for foreign tourists i suppose,... More

I give this restaurant a relative 4star. Don't get too excited though. You can get eggs and cereal for breakfast, first plus. You can get half decent coffee and tea. The food is probably fairly healthy. On the negative, the service is strange (not friendly, and try to get you to order more and more) and the pizzas are tiny... More
