Description: This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying...
This restaurant started one year ago and the owners spent years studying the relationship between food, taste, health & the environment. They re-created vegetarian recipes by using alternative grains/millets such as Amaranth, Ragi, etc that are gluten-free & highly nutritious, and made tasty cookies, shakes & desserts that are also vegan. Their delicious salads are washed with filtered water and Indian tacos / chapatti pizzas are quick, tasty snacks. They also offer a full Indian food menu that is organic & tastes incredible. Their juices are made with really fresh vegetables & fruits. The restaurant is situated near the lake with awesome views of the lake, old temple with monkeys & parrots, and of city palace from the 2nd floor. The first floor has mattresses & low-height tables to sit & eat in traditional Indian style. The food is cooked from fresh raw materials so it takes 10-20 min more than usual, and the serving staff communicates which menu item will take long time.

PURE MEWAR RESTAURANT

It is very very Good and cheap Restaurant. The Taste of Food is very nice. The siiting style of Restaurant is traditional like Rajasthani. Guest has to sit on floor on Gadda.

I was here just yesterday for an Indian cooking class and felt a lite cheated by the whole experience. The price is 850 rupees and for this you are told you will cook 5 dishes (selected by the first people to sign up). This sounds a little expensive, but understandable if the classesare high quality. They are not. During the... More

This reatuarant has a lovely menu and great tasting food both Indian and western. However the service is very slow. Took us an hour to receive 2 bowls of soup and 2 wraps.

Went after reading so many good reviews but to be honest we were disappointed with the main courses. My wrap and my boyfriends pasta both tasted like Chinese food for some reason. The desserts were amazing though the cookies are absolutely delicious. Worth a visit bitstream stick to indian food rather than western

They have a rich menu, very "health food" oriented, I'm not sure the cook is. We had trouble just to place an order, and the food we got was just OK, not more. As they are in almost every guide, it now run by itself, they don't seems trying hard. I'm afraid quality will decrease dramaticaly.

Millets of Mewar is a lovely restaurant with really good food less than a ten minute walk from the City Palace. Tip-eat on the top floor (roof) for superb views of the city and water.

This amazing restaurant serves fresh salads what is very rare (unique?) in India. The sprout salad as well as the mixed vegetable salad with humus tasted incredible. I also really liked the fresh orange juice which has been the best of my life. After having travelled in India for several weeks it was a welcomed change to eat some non-Indian-spiced... More

It is a decent restaurant to go for a meal or two. Their thali is quite nice. Sitting on top floor, you get a beautiful view of the lake pichola which looks like bedecked bride at night.
