we ended up here just cause there were so many boards it was super easy to find. it was empty- which was perfect for us, they serve beer and wine and everything from on the menu was available. the gnocchi was espically nice and the decor and location (tucked away in a little ally). the service was really pathetic, but... I was craving for some good videshi khana n found savage garden owned by cafe edelweiss owner. Chicken minestrone soup was such a treat in cold chilly winters of Udaipur with a dash of cheese . Then we ordered chicken SAJID Ali, I don't know the history but it's crumb friedchicken breast stuffed wit cottage cheese n dry fruits, served with... More

I cannot believe that this restaurant is rated so highly. I went with my wife and had the signature dish Chicken Wajid. If you call dry chicken in a brown strange tasting sauce fantastic then I must be crazy. My wife had the felafel which was tasteless and uninspiring. The service was mediocre

Even in Italy the food in this place would have struck me as superb! Unfortunately I only had three days to make my choices from their promising menu and I was never disappointed. And the intimate courtyard dominated by a banana tree and a huge bougainvillea, set over two levels is the romantic place you would love to take your... More

The menu is eclectic and the service spot on. The falafel was wonderful and so are the salads. Very friendly and lovely atmosphere.

This place is an absolute gem of a find. And only 3 minutes off of the well worn tourist path. Ran by the German culinary master behind the ever popular Cafe Edelweiss - this restaurant is sensational. When you're in India you eat curry for breakfast noon and nigh. That's why you're in India - to immerse yourself in the... More

Went there for lunch just yesterday. Was greeted by the owner, who gave us the highlights on the menu. Had chicken wajid, and it was heaven on a plate. Breast of chicken with crunchy skin stuffed with cashews and currants. My friend had ravioli stuffed with eggplant, which was good also. The food was so good, I didn't notice anything... More

The quality and presentation of the meal served at this Western/ Indian Fusion restaurant was simply the most innovative and memorable my partner and I experienced during a 12 day trip to India. We stayed at 5 star plus hotels, sampled the Country's top rated restaurants, and consider ourselves as somewhat spoiled "foodies". The Owner/ Chef created a 6 course... More

Quirky and different. Lovely European food. Set in a back alley, it feels like a hidden gem.  Excellent Italian food. Good service. Clean. Most importantly... They serve real espresso coffee!
