Walking through tiny lanes and winding roads is a normal thing in Udaipur. The entrance to Savage Garden is really unsuspecting and you kind of wonder of you're going to the right area, however the minute you enter the place you are struck by the beautiful blue french walls and the bougainvillea. The feel of the place is extremely French/Portuguese... More

When we saw the way to Savage Garden, it looked a little suspicious but once we got there it was a different story altogether. The food was mind-blowing! The ambience was amazing with their shades of blue and white. The quantity they served was just right! Their Italian dishes were the best.

We went for lunch and it didn't look like much from the entrance but the place inside was pretty nice. The service was fast and the food was really good. The pastas were delicious, as was the bruschetta. Pricing was pretty decent as well.

We came here on the recommendation of Lonely Planet and it was very disappointing. The location was interesting and the courtyard was serene and tranquil. The food was very disappointing and the coffee was absolutely terrible (I couldn't even drink it). The pastas were overcooked and the sauces were overly sweet. The bathroom had no soap which kind of freaked... More

I was drawn by the name of this place. The ambiance is nice but the food is pretty average. Can give it a miss.

we ended up here just cause there were so many boards it was super easy to find. it was empty- which was perfect for us, they serve beer and wine and everything from on the menu was available. the gnocchi was espically nice and the decor and location (tucked away in a little ally). the service was really pathetic, but... I was craving for some good videshi khana n found savage garden owned by cafe edelweiss owner. Chicken minestrone soup was such a treat in cold chilly winters of Udaipur with a dash of cheese . Then we ordered chicken SAJID Ali, I don't know the history but it's crumb friedchicken breast stuffed wit cottage cheese n dry fruits, served with... More

I cannot believe that this restaurant is rated so highly. I went with my wife and had the signature dish Chicken Wajid. If you call dry chicken in a brown strange tasting sauce fantastic then I must be crazy. My wife had the felafel which was tasteless and uninspiring. The service was mediocre

Even in Italy the food in this place would have struck me as superb! Unfortunately I only had three days to make my choices from their promising menu and I was never disappointed. And the intimate courtyard dominated by a banana tree and a huge bougainvillea, set over two levels is the romantic place you would love to take your... More
