Just to let anyone who might be considering the El Dorado Steakhouse, keep looking as it is CLOSED! It faced a fate of slow business. Was great while it lasted.

Bad location...food shortages on menu, irregular hours. Was good once upon a time, but closed now and no longer in business.

We went with friends(2) that go often, know the owner and spoke well of it . The place was not to busy, it was around 8:15 pm. Since I forgot the reading glasses I ordered 1/2 order of nachos w/steak. My husband ordered the NY strip with potatoe. After 45 minutes to an hour my meal arrived, a little wait... More

We come to Angel Fire at least twice a year and always have at least one meal here. They have never disappointed us. Excellent menu items and their specials have been delightful. The Chicken Fried Steak was the best I've ever had.

A real nice place in a off the road shopping mall. Family owned and ran, the service was very good and food excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly rare! Prices run on par with a high end steak place which this place shoots for but slightly misses. They were out of a few items which was a little frustrating but... More

Pros: decent atmosphere. Very southwestern and pretty fun. You can throw peanut shells on the floor which was great for my kids. The iced tea was fantastic, which is a must at a Texas-style steakhouse. Our server was friendly. I had a party of 8 and it was easy to get into. CONS: The biggest one is that my steak... More

Dined here on Friday after July 4th. Tried to call and make suggested reservations but no one returned my call so we took a chance and just showed up. No problem to have no reservation. My bottled beer was warm- had to put in my ice water to chill it, the house salad was just some iceberg salad with one... More

Food was good, service was good, the only time I have eaten at a high end steak house and they didn't serve any kind of bread. I asked for some bread and was told they didn't serve bread or roll or any type of bread. Paid $34.00 for a steak got salad and potato.

We loved the decor. Service and food were wonderful. A little on the pricey side, but portions were huge. There was no kid's menu when we were there - they had to print more, but sort of told us what they had to offer and tried to come up with kid friendly options. We'll be back!

We dined here on Christmas eve. The food was quite good (we all had steaks and potatoes) and service was fairly prompt. I do have to say that the restaurant was very cold and I think they had just turned their heater on at 5pm and we arrived at 6ish. It was unusually cold while we were there (in the... More
