After spending a satisfying 2 days at Jaipur we traveled by road to Jodhpur to reach Manwar. We stayed in their resort accommodation that night, n were treated to one of the best meals ever.. Rathore did a great job in guiding us as this place is literally in the middle of nowhere. Hospitality at its best!! We did the... More

Arrived at Manwar in time for a very nice lunch, went out on a jeep safari to see animals and native villages - good Rajastan afternoon. Checked into our tent, (big bed, electricity, shower) then went on a camel ride to see the sunset (The camel is a very uncomfortable beast and I wouldn't recommend the experience to anyone who... We stayed at the desert camp for 2 nights and 3 days - possibly the best leg of our 10 day Rajasthan driving holiday. It's super easy to get here since it's right on the highway, and their Thar jeep takes you to the campsite in the middle of the dunes. The campsite is really pretty, with a gnarled tree... More

We loved staying here. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was good, especially the vegetarian dishes. The desert safari was more interesting and fun that we expected -- I particularly enjoyed the home visit. Camel rides were great, too -- well, who doesn't like a camel ride. Each night there is a live music show. Prices are reasonable... More
