Good food with a beautiful view

Eat inside and admire the Ramayana paintings or, even better, sit on the rooftop and enjoy the sunset and the perfect view of the fort as it lights up after dark. Special thali was enough food for two with an extra naan. Tasty and reasonably priced.

For a restaurant of this quality it is fantastic value for money. The manager Sam is very friendly and is a part time Bollywood actor!!! Highly recommended if you want to get out of the tourist area and want a great restaurant for not much money at all.

This restaurant has seating indoors for those who wish to admire the 150-year-old Ramayana wall paintings and outdoors on the roof top for those who prefer the panoramic view of the city. It is located next to a Ram temple. We opted for the regular vegetarian Thali which we found was more than enough for both of us. Looking at... More

It was a bit too chilly and dark to sit on the roof, so we opted to sit indoors. While we were the ONLY diners (which was slightly awkward), we chalked it up to the relatively early dining time (for India). Food was very delicious, we ordered ala carte instead of thalis so we could choose our items. The bajri... More

Great view from the top roof terrace if a little lacking in atmosphere( suggestion- take down those two bright lights and fill the place with lanterns and candles and fairy lights) But the food was truly excellent.. The special thali is big eb Enough for two people and full of new and interesting veg dishes to try. My biryiani was... More

Went to the rooftop restaurant for lunch and had the best Thali so far in India. Shared the 'Special Thali' with my girlfriend which was plenty of food and featured 4 different curries, 2 parathas, cumin rice and a sweet dessert. Cooked by young and friendly Nepalese chef. Recommend it!

This place has the usual fort views, plenty of comfortable seating and check out the Rama Temple which is part of the hotel/restaurant complex. They have a small service there at around 18.45 every day. Restaurant service is quick and friendly, if sometimes a bit confused, portions are huge and prices not the cheapest for a pure veg place. The... More

This restaurant is in the on the fringe of the old city, next to a temple. The rooftop is relaxed and relatively quiet after the frantic and noise of the surrounding market. The food is tasty and well prepared and the view of the fort is impressive. Worth a visit to relax for lunch after visiting the fort or shopping... More

I do not know how to review this place. When we went to Nirvana, having seen it's great reviews on TripAdvisor, we were expecting SOMETHING. We got no waiters for the 30 min we sat there, despite them knowing that we are sitting there. Just weiirrdd!!!
