It might be an excellent place, but the hotel staff were not very nice at all when I climbed up and asked about the restaurant. The courtyard is being renovated and very messy. The restaurant might be closed for low season or renovation, I never learnt, but at least the people around could have been nicer about it. I didn't... More

A great stop amidst the business of the clocktower/market area in Jodhpur. Came here with a bunch of friends and had lunch on the roof. Reasonably priced, nice views and shaded roof. Service is slow as it is everywhere in India :)

Touristy but comes with a fabulous view of the Mehangarh fort! Right in the centre of town, a couple of hundred metres from the clock tower, this is a nice place to unwind and relax after the noise and the chaos of the bazaar. The entrance is exotic and the ambience inviting. The place was almost empty around lunch time... More

This restaurant is a gem.It shares it's site with an old Rama temple and is very easy to find as it is only a couple of hundred metres into the bazaar from the clock tower. The first level is a lovely garden and an indoor dining room with wonderful old wall paintings. The temple is on this level and is... More

We sat at the very top - keep going up until you can't go any more! A lovely restaurant although very quiet every time we went there. A lovely view of the city and streets below and a wonderful view of family of Eagles nesting and feeding just metres away.

The service was good, The view was good. The food was very good. The price was good - but it all felt a bit bleak. There are too few tables on a large rooftop to generate much atmosphere. perhaps eating indoors would be better.

The setting, right below the fort and just above/ behind a temple is great. Sunset was beautiful from here and also got the joy of watching one of the local kites (birds!) fledge from a nest only a few metres away. Service was ok and desserts were a bit disappointing but the mains were so great we took our friends... More

The café is nicely located close to a temple and the restaurant room is well decorated. We were a bit worried because we had read the reviews of some people who got poisonned but this happens almost everywhere in India so we decided to go anyways. The food was ok. A bit surprising ( the paneer had been fried with... More

Location being the main advantage of this place, being here will make you feel like a neighbour of the world famous mehrangarh fort, really awesome view.

Going there at night requires going through a sketchy street. We waited 30 minutes to get a soup. The tomato soup is essentially ketchup with water. There were barely any lentil in the dal. Noodles were basic, naan was not cooked. The room is beautiful, prices are low but that does not compensate the issues above. Also, given the state... More
