"Our espresso recommended by Lonely Planet 2015" Are you tired of drinking "Indian style" coffee that is often improperly-made, of low-quality, or both? We are too! That's why we're excited to make the best freshly-brewed drink for you to enjoy at The Traveller's Cup. What makes us different? - We understand what it takes to make great filtered coffee and espresso drinks. - We know that a great cup of coffee starts with using quality ingredients and that's why we only use premium Fair-Trade imported coffee, freshly-brewed when you order. - If your drink isn't as you'd like it, we'll make it right! - Our drinks are competitively priced, the same as others charge for instant coffee! (because we want you to leave completely satisfied!). - We offer a relaxed, peaceful & fan-cooled atmosphere with comfortable seating, and we also offer complimentary wireless internet (wifi) for every guest. Come visit us today for the best coffee, latte, or cappuccino around!**We're located inside Dharam Internet Cafe and Bookshop, opposite the Sun Temple (Surya Mandir) less than a five minute walk from the palace and Jain temple**

Perfect oasis-of-calm pitstop!

Tucked away at the back of the Dharan Book Store (which is itself a wonderful place!), The Traveller's Cup is the perfect little quiet hideaway from the raucous shops and the beating sun. It's a cushions-on-the-floor affair, comfortable and cool. The banana lassi is delicious and refreshing, the... read more

The owner prepared tasty coffees and banana muesli with curd and honey for us and we invited him to sit with us and chat for a while. It... More

We came in one evening for a warm drink and wifi and loved it. My cardamom coffee was spectacularly delicious and my husband's masala chai was delightfully spicy. We bought a new book for a great price in the bookstore. The guys were very attentive without, like, staring at us (it's amazing how rare that is). They advised us on... More

I had a cardamom coffee while I was browsing in the bookshop. It was delicious. I have never seen such an extensive menu for coffee. The combination of great coffee, peaceful ambience, wifi and books makes this place fantastic, thank you!
