Amazing food and a real laid-back place. The quantity is also very good. We went there around 4-5 times in our 4-days stay. Very nice and polite staff. It was just 2 mins walk from our hotel - Shreenath Palace.

My boyfriends favourite curry in all 2 months of travelling India. The views are incredible- get there for sunset , the colours are amazing. Service a tad slow but friendly and very good value.

A local recommended us this place, and we really liked it. We had some veggie Indian curries with rice and chapatti. It was our last meal in Jaisalmer and we do not regrest at all spending it there. The views are fantastic and its a nice place to relax.

This restaurant is located inside the fort, and as its name suggests is good for seeing the sunset. We spent a good couple of hours here relaxing and enjoying the sunset. The only food I had was vegetable pakoras, which were a good sized serving and tasty, not too spicy. The masala chai was good and served in a large... More

Second time visiting here, impressed both times. Excellent views during the day and night. Good simple food and service. Not sure what the first poster is on about, what part of Jaisalmer fort doesnt have cow crap everywhere?

The sunset is always beautiful from any place on earth but if you have to cross a public toilet area and tread carefully on the ground then the beauty of the sunset fades away. What could have been a lovely place for introspection, meditation and photography opportunities is actually place full of filth and garbage. So when you reach that... More

I, like other reviewers, kept going back to this tucked-away gem. The food tasted fresh and hommade. As a cook friend of mine would say, the food had soul. It was never crowded, it was always mellow, and I just loved sitting on the cushions, taking in the view, and savoring their insanely delicious Aloo Maharani. Strongly recommend it!

Currently at Sunset now, for the second time. The first time my friend and I came here we arrived at 10:30pm and the owner said its fine for us to order and use the free wifi, though the kitchen does close at 11pm. He stated it was okay for us to stay a little after 11pm. The owner was and... More

An excellent place where I ate regularly during my six day stay in Jaisalmer. The selection of indian dishes is very good (and they DO leave out the chillies unless you ask for them) and so are their salads; the setting is stunning and it's nice to also lay about on the cushions reading a book and sipping a lassi.... Bit confusing...some people call it the Sunset Place...and the business card says clearly Sunset Palace. If you want to watch a romantic sunset accompanied with some good food, here you'll get both. This must be the most spectacular view you can have (on fort) whilst enjoying your meals. The Sunset Place serves Indian, Continental, Chinese and even some Korean food.... More
