Plenty of restaurants to choose from in Jaisalmer. This one is no different to the rest, serving rather bland standard indian veggie tourist food. It's not going to set the world on fire, but all the same, I wouldn't advise against going there. Much of a muchness, is the best description of it!

The place is close to the fort, had non-veggie options. The plate size were generous, and the price is average for tourists (ranges between 100-300 chicken). Good option if you crave some meat.

It is a small restaurant near the entry gate of the Jaisalmer Fort. The food quality is good and tasty. The staff is good and helpful. They are willing to change the spice level as per ones own need and convenience. The food is one of the best available in Jaisalmer. The terrace offers very good view of the Fort.

We tried the Indian veg options for our evening meal and was pleasantly surprised, dishes were tasty and served steaming hot with overall good service. Location was great being close to the fort gate and the outdoor terrace allowed a good people watching spot of the the streets below. Beer was well priced but the atmosphere was dulled as we... More

We ate here for Breakfast on our way out of town at about 9am. There was nobody else in the restaurant. The staff were attentive and helpful, even in negotiating an annoying food allergy. The breakfast menu is all Indian, so don't head here if you're looking for a western breakfast. The chai was very good and served piping hot... More

We liked Monica so much that we ended up going there twice in 2 days. The location is good, very close to the main entrance to the fort, there is a lovely terrace with a view of the fort and the food is one of the best i've had in India. It's non-veg, has delicious meals, serves cold beer, has... More

Monica has a decent/good thali and a bunch of good meals to offer. Food is good but tends to be to adapted for tourists. It's pretty greasy and not extremely subtle, but remains an overall nice experience. I wouldn't necessarily return there since i've found better in Jaisalmer, but it was pleasant. Nothing exciting though. Location is good but could... More

I went to Monica's specifically to try their Rajasthani Thali. It cost R250, which seemed slightly overpriced but overpriced like every other restaurant in the area. The thali had 10 different items (as pictured in one of the photos). After scouting most of the restaurants in the vacinity I can say this seems to be the best deal for the... More

You get some great service and can pick up quite the decent Thali at this restaurant that sits just outside the fort.

Cool, shady lunch spot in this roof top restaurant, extremely close to Jaisalmer Fort Akhai Pol. Cold beers, excellent Rajahstani thali with lovely dishes of varying flavours. Outstanding value for money!!
