Very kind service--they took care of a bag I stupidly left behind, as well as giving helpful guidance with the menu. We weren't always mad about the live music but the players/singers were using authentic local instruments and songs.

We went there beyond lunch hours, but they were kind enough to serve . The food is a little more than average, but definitely worth trying out , if you want to just laze around.

Dropped in here for a snack and a coffee after exploring the fort. Asked for a strong, black coffee and a fruit salad at around 10.30am. Coffee was weak and tasteless. Fruit salad tasted like vegetables - hint, don't use the same knife to cut fruit as you use to cut onions and garlic etc - it kinda ruins it.... More

A lovely rooftop restaurant near the Mandir Palace hotel and the fort. A warm welcome, fine food and music to fill the evening with memories. I loved the aloo jeera (potatoes with cumin), best I've had.

They only had about four tables on the terrace with umbrellas which were all taken, so we had to sit in a marquee with no view. It's in a very beautiful haveli, so it was quite expensive. I'm not sure the food was quite worth it, but it was nice.

Looking for a restaurant option serving mainly Indian food was tricky and we ended up at Saffron's. The waiter was super friendly and even if we arrived long before opening of the kitchen he let us feel at home and serving us super good Sula wine as aperitif. The food we have tried was very good and the breeze you... More

The Junglee Maas at Saffron inside the Nachana Haveli, Jaisalmer, is a stuff of dreams. Adequately spiced with the Rajasthani fiery red chillies, this rustic wild, hunters' dish of the Rajputs, made me come back the second night for more. The rooftop restaurant, with a view of the fortress ramparts, adds to the thrill. A great place for romantic, candlelight... More

Landed to this place while roaming on the streets of Jaisalmer, at first sight we loved the ambiance of this roof top restaurant. Live folk music was melodious and very soothing. Food was delicious too. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed dinner here so much that we came two nights in a row. The setting on the rooftop with the fortress beyond and cooler breezes made it very comfortable and noteworthy. Local musicians added to the ambience. It was traditional Indian fare -- the Lal Maans (roast lamb in a red chili sauce) was especially tasty. Dinner for a... More
