The restaurant is accessed through part of the Hotel Nachana Haveli's beautiful courtyard. The roof top restaurant is spacious and provides great views across the Nachana Haveli and family palace. The food is good (Lal maans and chicken bhuna were particularly nice). Be sure that you eat on an evening when the trio of musicians can accompany your candle lit... More

It's a roof top restaurant, in summers no clay oven is operational, no alcoholic drinks served, food is good, prefer Mutton dished compared with chicken, great service..

The view from the roof was great. Place was nicely furnished. Food was rather disappointing though. Very average. Served cold. About $15 a head.

Before I share my review there is a request, please try lal maans(red meat curry) here if you are a non vegetarian and like spicy Indian dishes. Saffron serves excellent food. Do not miss the bhuna chicken and lal maans - both were excellent. Furthermore, the service is excellent. My wife and I ate at Saffrom once - and landed up eating all our meals there. A must visit when staying/visiting Jaisalmer.

We ate at Saffron on our last night at Jaisalmer. Lovely place with a nice rooftop. Live local music and delicious food. Staff is very professional and you can tell they are experienced with foreign tourists. Highly recommend it!

Visited as part of a tour group and the food and view were both very good. Service took a little while but then we were a group of 14. The food is probably a bit more expensive than most places but the Lal mas was certainly one of the best dishes I've tasted in India.

Comfortable restaurant, lovely views of palace. Food was okay. It was starting to feel like every restaurant we ate at used the same menu format.

They served us incredible Rajasthani thalis for a very reasonable cost. Definitely the best meal of our trip!
