The title pretty much says it all: good food, even better ambiance. The food is good, not great, but is spiced to more authentic Indian standards than Trio. Whether you sit on the floor cushions inside their air conditioned restaurant, or in their open patio overlooking the fort, you are bound to relax and have a nice time. The air... More

This is true tasty Indian food at much lower prices than in the fort. They do great chai and is usually got a few locals in for a really authentic feel.

I ate here my first night when Papu, one of the owners of Desert Boy Guesthouse, took me. The food wasn't that great and considering my awful experience at the guest house (one of the owners touched me inappropriately and took off his pants before I could get to my room) I would not trust the food here. If they... More

They have live Rajasthani folk music and dance shows on the stage while you eat the sumptuous local cuisine at the open air dining area. Friendly staff to serve you. Beware, though, they don't accept card payment, so carry cash beforehand.

I dined here for lunch in the beautiful shaded courtyard. Normally vegetarian food would not be my first choice but decided to try based on the reviews/pics on tripadvisor. Fantastic vegetarian food. I tried a Rajasthani local dish - fried chickpea balls in gravy which had great flavor. Also the potatoes were excellent. Best was the plain nan bread -... More

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path in town (about 10 minutes walk from the main entrance to the fort), but worth the patience to find it. You'll see signs and think you've arrived only to find yourself in a private home or a hotel!! Keep walking.... Nice patio with a beautiful tree in the center. We were... More

Saw many advertisements for this restaurant and decided to visit with family. The food was very average. We visited during lunch hours and the service was ok and food mediocre. They should keep the place a little cleaner. Apart from cleanliness, the food was very oily; we requested it to be prepared with less oil. I wouldn't recommend this place... More
