i ordered south Indian and Chinese food but both were worst. I am not sure about the Rajasthani food, i hope that would be good.

Had a great lunch here, the stuffed capsicum was great. Service was quick and it was full of locals chowing down. Busy location next to main entrance to the city.

Had the Oh so famous ice-cream. We tried all the flavors but like only Pista. Ice creams are just Rs 10 thats what makes all the foreigners go googoo-gaagaa. Taste was good but nothing over the top. Its OK if you miss this one.

I visited the new branch on Gopa Chowk a couple of times. Nice and simple, good quality food, frequented by both tourists and locals. A good sweet shop on the ground floor, and tasty, safe street food (samosas, kachori, bread pakora etc) cooked just outside. Definitely one of the better value places in Jaisalmer.

We got to know about this restaurant from a local street shop vendor. Eating at local eat-outs is part of the travel experience and this place was so good we went there twice in 2 days. They serve only vegetarian food but really yummy and authentic Rajasthani cuisine. Their thali meals ate unlimited. Standard thali comes at 90 rs and... More

The waiter at the nearby Saffron Restaurant said they didn't have Rajasthani cuisine and recommended we try one of the "dhaba" places around the corner, so we landed up here for lunch. The place was crowded, with tourists as well as the local crowd (including a large number of men from the army camp). We ordered a Marwari thali and... More
