But I knew about the Shrews Burry biscuits from my cousin and we got only that. I thought it was yummy...mouth still watering just thinking about the... More

Legacy cannot carry itself into future unless backed by continued great service. But, if legacy leads to overconfidence in service and attitude that whatever we sell, will sell, then it is time to write off that place. Kayani bakery is one such place. Unless they improve the quality of their produce and most importantly their humility, this place should rightfully... More

The bakery is actually a Heritage of Pune. The walnut cake is outstanding, shrewsbury biscuits out of this world, everything else lovely. Extremely crowded, you would need to push your way in as there would be plenty of people wanting their share of the goodies. DONT MISS IT.

Coming from Delhi to Pune i had the enviable task of carrying back gifts for my friends & relatives back home.As usual items from Kayani Bakery topped the list apart from Laxminarayan Chivda & `Pune`s snack delicacy `Bakherwadi`! I had in my earlier visits experienced the melee of hordes of people rushing in to the portals of the small entrance... More

Heritage bakery of Pune. This is one of the oldest and nostalgic bakery of Pune. While visiting check the timings, as opens for two hours in morning and few hours in evening. This place will offer NO sitting place, and you need to make your way in rush to buy the stuff, as is always crowded. All the items are... More

A visit to pune is incompetence without visiting Kayani. This bakery is in a league of its own. Shrewsbury biscuits and mawa cake rule the roost here.I always ask my colleagues who visit Pune to squeeze time and get Shrewsbury biscuits for me.

I have been eating their mava cakes and Shrewsbury biscuits as far back as I can recollect. We live in Mumbai, but knowing my craze for Shrewsbury biscuits, anyone from my family or my friends who visit Pune never forget to carry back a packet for me. It's a very crowded place, and you have to stand in a queue... More
