of course a visit to pune is incomplete without paying homage to Kayanis,,,,the shrewsbury there cannot be duplicated,,,and thankfully they have made it smaller,,,so easier to eat,,,tha mawa cakes are divine too,,,order if u want more,,,,and i liked the fact that they still have retained that old world charm of the shop

Try their shrewsbury biscuits. You have to get them by 7.30am coz their stock for the day is gone by 8am...that's how good they are! Their mawa cakes and cheese biscuits are also quite good. Pity the bakery is closed on Sundays. Their products have class.

The mawa cakes are to die for. While I am not a big fan of biscuits the variety and taste is quite wide. Also the cream rolls are a must have

Looking for Quality & a feeling of Purity? Then try Kayani. Fantastic reputation, I love the wine buscuits, the cakes, the soup sticks, the bread, the shrewsbury, the cheese buscuits and the Khari. The catch is that they often run out of stock, so be early. And the outlet is Closed on sundays :)

The most famous place for cakes in Pune. Walnut cakes and Mava Cakes are their specialty. All kinds of breads are goo too. Only one needs to be lucky to get them- they sell out very fast daily.

Have been to this place recently after i heard a lot about it over the years.. its definitely not bad but with too many world class bakeries around this one doesnt live up that much..biscuits here are classic and its know for this..its not that costly and may be thats one reason that many people turn up here..
