After reading good reviews in the lonely planet, we were looking forward to some decent Italian food. Unfortunately we came away disappointed. While the service was attentive and the rooftop location was nice, the food was some of the worst we have had in our 5 weeks in India. We ordered the garlic bread/bruschetta, which was basically tomatoes and basil... More

After a long day of temple viewing in the humidity of the monsoon season, it was a pleasure to sit down with a beer in the rooftop Mediterraneo. It is over the main shopping street so you can browse the wears in the stores opposite while you relax. Be careful that you are in the original Mediterraneo downtown by the... More

Nice and tasty pizza but ... a bit expensive and it is not good ad pizza of Mediterraneo restaurant of Jaipur. Anyway, I think it is the best reasturant in Khajuraho. Very closed to the tantric temples, also and near to the hotel Zen. Go there if you need a pizza after days of indian food.

After four days of only Indian food with little variety (no choice in the national park lodges) we’ve wanted to have something different and weren’t disappointed at Mediterraneo. The pizza was, well almost, like in Italy. Chocolate cake was good aswell (baked in the pizza oven). Soup was rather average (ordered tomato soup, received something more like a minestrone). Spaghetti... More

Pizza is tasty while spaghetti is weird. The environment is nice with laid-back feeling.

The pizza from a wood-fired oven was good, nothing to rave about however, and for around 300 Rs it is way too expensive compared to what you get elsewhere. The desserts are even more costly, 155 Rs for an apple pie - I had great cakes in Varanasi for 25 Rs, in a bakery with tables, not on the street.... More

Italian rooftop restaurant with great views of local town with all the hustle & bustle of typical India. Great staff & food with inside air conditioned seating if required.

The Mediterraneo is a pleasant surprise for tourists as it serves some excellent Italian fare at it's terrace restaurant. The ambience is good and the food even better with superb wood baked pizza's and some fine coffee and muffins to round it up. Frequented mainly by toursits from Europe, it makes for a fine evening out.
