Loved loved loved this kind of entertainment. Cowboy Dinner, music from wonderful entertainers, many laughs, a shoot'em up, pony rides, shooting at targets, shopping in the little stores,

Personally I had a good time here. I enjoyed the food, the singing group, the western show, the shops and the little town area. They had gold panning for children, fake funny tombstones and it was set up nice.

Great food with great music & entertainment. What more do you need? Anyone that loves old-fashioned country type music needs to try a chuckwagon. Very family friendly. A wonderful night of fun.

My wife and I have been going to the Flying J Ranch while on vacations for over 30 years. Great food and great entertainment. Setting is an old western town in the pines. Chuck wagon dinner offers a choice of two meats, baked potato, beans, apple sauce, spice cake and a drink. Seconds are available so if you go away... More

For years, whenever my family vacations in Ruidoso, New Mexico, we always spend an evening enjoying the music and food at the Flying J Ranch. My twins are thirteen now and they still enjoyed the show after dinner. I'm not a big fan of country and western music, but I like blue grass music and the show they put on... More

2nd time in 12 years... What a wonderful treat for the family! Flying J is a remnant from an almost bygone era of wholesome fun and live entertainment. You don't have to be a lover of country western,, but the music stands on its own!

Pre-dinner, the place felt a bit like a tourist trap. The corny jail bars, the overpriced cheap goods in the stores, the teepee, the unscripted and often awkward "gun fight", etc. So I was a bit wary when we got to the dinner. But the Flying J folks put together a fun and scrumptious Western dinner, graciously made sure our... More
