Ate twice. One time prawns and rice were good. The second time, the food was just OK as the chicken was not properly cooked.
Not worth it. It is the 29th out of all the retaurants in tvm so not at all worth it. Very ordinary tasting food. Nothing great to try.
Go here for their ela biryani and kothu barotta, fantastic. Friendly and attentive waiters. We went several times during our stay in Trivandrum and really enjoyed it.
Good restaurant that specialises in biryani. We had mutton which was tasty although not as unique tasting as they make out. Doesn't come with sauce though but they happily brought us some. I've been there with my family, restaurant is good specially for non veg food, i was there for lunch, everything ordered was tasty, service was good, food quality was good, i really liked the Biryani, Highway on my plate team also visited there, and appreciated the food( NDTV program)
Located in the prime vazhuthacaud area, their kothu barotta is simply legendary, though sells out fast and it's better to call and order beforehand...reasonably priced with good service as well...Parking facility is great...
We came across this restaurant while looking for one from the lp supposedly nearby and were luckily decided to go in. We ate lots of food (chicken, mutton, fish, rice) and it was all delicious. The portions were not huge but it was great quality for the price.
We went to Azad for Lunch and I feel its probably best to visit Azad for dinner. Most of the specials like appam, Kotthu paratha etc are available only in the evening. Last weekend been to Medical college Azad.Ordered for Biriyani and Fish curry Rice.In the Fish curry rice the fish was not good and with regard to the Biriyani the rice used was not Basmati so no aroma and just ordinary Biriyani to tell.
If you ever want to have a taste of mallu biriyani then Azad is the place. It was melting in the mouth and have to say that I was impressed with the Azad biriyani after a long time. Decent air conditioned dine in with very fast service. Just what was needed for a hungry tummy. Waiting to go back soon...
