Nice Family Restaurant for Dinner Time

The palm trees really are breath-taking to watch and the tables. Do try the different types of coconut dishes over here. The staff is good and the other buffet dishes are also worth a try for. Do try payassam over here which is sweet to taste.

A serene view of the garden while you take small bites on your plate. There is a great variety of food available here and the staff are nice too.

We look after it but unfortunately is not longer available. The pink little house is still there but only the children enjoy the garden for playing.

The setting of the restaurant is a lush garden, nicely decorated and quiet. The food consists of noticeably own and very creative creations, basically Indian food, with European and other Asians influences: Some of the best food we had in Kerala and definitley the most creative one. The mixed rice and the Crispy Chicken with Papaya were simply fantastic.

Firstly, it's not on Bypass Road, it's on SBT Road next to Periyar Seven Hills Guesthouse. Food is excellent and not the same old tourist fodder. Where else have you had beef with pineapple and chocolate.....it was delicious! Not the cheapest (anout the same as all the other tourist fodder places we checked out) but we ate there twice and... Its hard to review this restaurant as our two experiences were very different. The first time we pop in for a lunch. The restaurant is just a few tables placed in beautiful garden. We had a delicious omelet and rather weak coffee. Overall the place was pleasant for lunchtime break and the food was good. We came back the same... More

A great choice of local dishes, with very personal service. This is a very small establishment, with only two chefs - so if they are busy be prepared to wait - It is worth it.

We have been in Coconut Garden twice during our sty in Kumily - we never got disapointed. Food is alwasy fresh prepared - so if all tables are occupied you might have to wait for 30 min. The menue has normal Indian dishes but also very special, created by the chief, tastes e.g. spicy chicken with honey and friuts, some... More
