We enjoyed our stay there. The food was great - absolutly try their chocolate-banana-cake but beware of their very strong filter coffee if you're not used to that ;-)

A quiet place for some simple breakfast, no frills... We ordered the homemade muesli, mushroom cheese omelette and mint tea, it was very good and filling. Service was slow but courteous. Lazy ambience with some good music, just the thing to wake you up. If you are up for a long walk, slow service, good food (limited variety) with light... More

Down an alley only 2 tables occupied and lunch took one hour to arrive! All our choices were unavailable, so ended up with tasteless pasta but good middle eastern mezze. Additionally more expensive than Ambada restaurant. Certainly not worth the wait. Would never return. However at least we were not ill!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here in the cool roof-top area of the restaurant. Good variety of middle-eastern dishes which were very tasty indeed. Shame it was so quiet......very few other diners when we were there.

We went to Chrissie's every morning for breakfast and had two evening meals there in our six day stay in Kumily. Everything about Chrissie's is delightful, from the cool shady roof terrace where breakfast is served, to the high quality of all the food served. I had curd with forest honey and bananas followed by various omelettes and toast, (homemade... More

The friendliest, most helpful staff who gave my sister and I loads of travel advice and called other hotels on our behalf, as well as rickshaws, restaurants and helped us plan the remanding part of our trip when they realised how disorganised we were. Rooms were beautiful and well priced but the friendly staff, including Chrissie herself, who treated every... More

Lovely clean restaurant. We had the set lunch between 2 of us with an extra salad. Everything was fresh and rasty

the restaurant room where we had our breakfast is open to the garden. It is a very quiet and peaceful place where we could enjoy the healthy food that we were served. All the products were fresh and the quantities generous. The coffee was particularly good and served in a big pot; The staff and the owner were quite friendly.

After some amazing curries we were tempted by the promise of European fare, or even just something a bit different. We have just had the worst meal to date on our trip to India. The garlic bread was awful, the middle eastern selection unpleasant, and the tuna pizza was unable to bring the overall rating up to average. Sadly, no... More

Food here is fine but nothing special. I think it was a bit overpriced probably because all the guide books recommend it. You could get similar or even better food at other places for a lower price. No wifi in the eating area...it is only in the lobby but difficult to acquire. Would really expect it to be more widespread.... More
