I have known Dal Roti for the last 5 years. Always has great savory tasting food and cheerful warm welcome from the owner (Mr.Ravi) I must they make the best stuffed parrata i have tasted all these year. The katti rolls are real good too. A sip ginger lime soda and the Kajjar ka halwa will keep you coming back... More

This place serves authentic North Indian cuisine. The food is of very good quality as the owner explains he does not compromise on this. All food is bought fresh that morning and dishes made up during the day, ie pumpkin, watermelon and honeymelon seed bases. Any food left over at the end of the day is donated to a local... More

Nice cafe Indian style in a look like converted barn. Good quality on all food and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Downside they don't serve alcohol

We had gone to India for a family reunion and were told of this restaurant. All 6 of us went there and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The couple that run the place is exceptional...they advise us on the portions and recommend great food. This is one place I highly recommend for any one who is looking for a good restaurant!... More

AMAZING, ate here two nights in a row - yes, it's just Indian street food but the goat was amazing, love the owner, just wish I could find something like it in San Francisco.

It may not look much (shabby walls and rough wooden tables) though as soon as you step inside it all seems fitting, for a no frills, yet warm hearted experience with the most delicious food imaginable. Once we discovered the place, we would arrive early (18:30) every night to make sure we got a table, because as soon as the... More

Ask Ramesh ji ( the owner) for his special chicken roll in Kerala paratha.... its yummy and very filling! if you don't care for a dry item like a roll, ask Rameh Ji to recommend something.... he is really good at suggesting items that you may not be able to pick out of the menu.

I found this one in Lonely Planet. It was a bit difficult to find, but if you ask around, people know where it is. The interior is a bit distasteful and don't even try to look at the kitchen, but! The food was very good, especially the Kati Rolls! The owner was helpful and explained each of the menu items... More
