Taste of Mangalore+ Kerala

Mix of both traditions make a fine dining at this place, Gokul's veg delicacies carry traditional taste. Conveniently located , with natural ambience. Elai ada of good taste. Meals comes with standard items of kerala type.

Please do not order set chappatti until unless you are not hungry!!. For Rs. 50 this item is no no. The plain oothappam looked like as if two dosa's have been stuck together. The service was also pathetic, one has to ask couple of times before they serve water for drinking!

Ootuppura is very good for veg food, be it parcel, snack or full fledged dinner. The place has benches instead of chairs. This keeps the back steady and straight and food is eaten in most perfect manner. However, the drawback is that if you are tired you cannot rest your back. Then it is better to take a parcel. Cost... This place is a regular hangout, when hungry. The tea is above average. The banana fry (Pazhampori) is oily. The vada is normal. The chutney is eXXcellent

It is a nice restaurant that serves local fare. The menu has good variety and food is very tasty. Finding a table can be a challenge - long waits are normal.

I like to go here for dinner. I am not a fan of their dosa items. But they have good torus and mushroom and paneer dishes. Love their chaat.

Located in an area which is a bit crowded and locating a parking space for your car would be an exercise in itself, this offers very good South Indian vegetarian food. The North Indian dishes too are available but it seems that the chef is more comfortable with South Indian recipes. The ground floor is a busy place where you... More

Being a meat lover, it is hard for me to take a liking towards pure vegetarian food... But this place makes it seem like a piece of cake. The food is amazing. A special mention for their chaats which is perhaps the most authentic and safe in the city. You are bound to love it.

Food is great, rightly priced, clean restaurant, nice ambience, the best paneer dish I have had in Cochin, friendly staff, kerala paratha is exceptional. Parking space is limited, would love to see more chaat items in their menu, home delivery should cover more parts of the city....overall one of the best restaurants in Cochin...keep going...
