Year after year, I come here and meet people from all over the world. We play music together here, entertaining others, and it feels comfy and mellow. The energy is clean here. Doesn't feel "dark" or depressing. At least three nights a week I would find myself at Chill Out.

Went to the cafe recently with an Indian friend. Despite what was claimed on the menu no Indian food was served, only the usual western sandwich-burger fare. A bit disappointing taking the delicious food of India into account. I always wonder why many travelers end up in such places instead of enjoying the local cuisine. Anyhow, upon inquiring on the... Cool cafe on a Cheray beach! it is stylish, youth, is constructed of natural materials, in orange color. :-) There's the Frenchman behind a bar counter very mobile and cool guy. we very much liked kitchen. the prices are slightly higher than averages. But the conomy during rest not for us! Surely try a barracuda and a lemon - fish... More

Dear Olga and Ed (hope we got your husband's name right), Thank you for an all your efforts implement European cuisine and cafe standards in India, as well as for an extraordinary dinning experience with a personal touch to it. The food was very good, service OK :+))) (we are sure you will teach current Indian staff or will find... More

Hi))) Thank you very much for your review! We are working on all the details) Unfortunately mosquitos is a problem that we didn't succeed to solve. The restaurant is open, the candles do not work on the wind, and mosquito nets - we can not roll all the restaurant with the nets, it will ruin the ambience. But if we... More

Great cafe right on Cherai Beach. The menu is European with a few Indian dishes thrown in. And the drinks are the coldest I've had in 3 weeks in India! We had the Russian salad and the promising-sounding "Best sandwich in the world". The latter didn't quite live up to its name but was still very good, and the salad... More

this restaurant is like a restaurant you would find in Europe not surprising as it is run by a french guy with french staff, service is 100% and food is excellent when you get fed up with curry 3 times a day. it is right on the beach, and everything is wicker and palm, not a plastic seat or lump... The food is great, the staff is welcoming, and its a lovely place to chill out (and yes you may have to wait a bit for the food). I loved the ambience, especially after sunset, with the beautiful lamps, cool breeze from the ocean and the sound of crashing waves. Perfect for a romantic dinner.

Chilliout is a pearl among beach cafes!!!! It is the best place to relax and enjoy the beach, eat great French food, delicious snacks, fresh fruit juices, wood oven pizzas, as well as the local catch of the day and quiche or crepe of the day. Don't miss the gaspachio! Eduard, the French owner, and his cousin, the chef, have... More

The food is great and interesting. The squid was awesome and the "peanut butter, rhubarb papaya pie" was the best pie we've ever had (despite the weird sounding combo). The fruit Punch was also very clever and delicious. It a real nice place to relax, have a good conversation with cool peoples (the young owners from Portugal and France are... More

Reading the reviews prompted us to visit the place. The food was okay nothing outstanding. The Bruchetta was more of a plain bread with cheese spread on it and tomatoes sprinkled on. This dish was a disapointment.. Our mains were good. What really was a turn off was seeing the ice being broken out of a plastic bottle which is... More

Hi) First of all thank you for the time you spend to write the review^ we always appreciate the feedback. Just want to make clear some things) Bruschetta (Italian pronunciation: [brus'ketta] ( listen)) is an antipasto from Italy whose origin dates to at least the 15th century. It consists of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with extra-virgin olive... More
