Love this place! Owners are very personable and cater to your every want. They even specially made dishes for my 9 year old neice and had my adventerous husband try some new things.

We had dinner at this place on recommendation of our local tour guide and we all had to agree that the food was amongst the best we'd had in all of Southern India. We ordered different curries, breads and rice which were all fantastic and finished with a divine dessert of banana in hot sugar syrup. Service was great -... More

Me and my sister were in Maria's cooking class with German couple. Maria is an excellent teacher, patiently she told us about spices and how to use them. We made both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and they all tasted just great. I totally recommend this place. Hope I can come back to another class.

We ate breakfast here 2 days in a row because the service was so nice, and the food was good too. One of the better cups of coffee I found in Kochi, and the fruit was fresh. George, the owner, was very nice and super knowledgable about the area. The garden is quiet and secluded, a nice escape from the... More

This garden cafe is our home when we visit Fort Cochin as the family who own it are generous, warm and welcoming. The garden itself is full of spices where we are served wonderful homemade food, always freshly cooked to order. George knows a lot of local history and he makes interesting conversation if asked. Maria cooks the breakfasts and... More

I absolutely love to cook and love to eat Indian food. Therefore when I saw that there were cooking classes offered here, I was so excited. I was not disappointed and had an amazing experience. I took a course with my husband and one other person. The 3 of us were able to custom make the menu. During the class... More

The food was pretty awful. I ate there about an hour ago. Almost everyone who was with me agreed. It took about an hour to arrive and was totally tasteless. When I went to pay tyre bill, I spotted a very tiny kitchen manned by a 15-16 year old boy. Also expensive.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. It might be because when you walk in you don't expect much, but the food was cooked freshly (yes, there was a little wait but I would rather that than eat something that had been hanging around for a while) and the food was excellent. You sit outside in the courtyard garden (remember your... More

I came to this restaurant for lunch on the first day i was in Kochin and have found nowhere better. I have eaten there a further 5 times and i have got to know the brilliant chefs Kanan and Jobin who have cooked local Keralan cuisine (that people eat in there homes) for me that you won't find on menus...
