Excellent set menu. Even though one of us was A la carte they served both of the soup and dessert. Felt very papmered. The shrimp was grilled to prefection. All food served to us was well cooked and balanced with the spice and seasonings. Well worth the slightly higher cost.

Once stayed in Taj Malabar and had exprienced this restaurant. Its a boat shaped sea food restaurant and stands as if you are actually inside a boat. The food is delicious. I would recommend this hotel.

For the evening, we had booked a table for two of us in "Rice Boat", where we were served with the authentic Kerala's cuisine. Variety of fish preparations with typical blend of spices were served. We enjoyed every bite of delicacies served. Fish steamed in banana leaf with authentic Kerala spices was awesome.

Its a kattuvelam (Kerela Boat ) made to rest on the banks and converted into a restaurant. Good sea food served with ac compliments. In between you are served with a Ice slush which helps you t wash down the flavor already existing in your mouth. The chef was kind enough to give us some starters so we get the... More

My wife and I went here to celebrate our 10-year anniversary and we were looking forward to our visit after reading all these rave reviews about great food and attentive service. Unfortunately, we found neither. We ordered a couple of drinks, appetizers (crab & tiger shrimp), a Meen Pollichathu and a fish curry. The drinks (when they finally arrived) were... More

We recently had lunch at this restaurant in the Taj Malabar Hotel. Having been there before we eagerly booked again and took a guest who had never dined there. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. The prices were high, especially for India but we would go there again certainly.

If you want to sample the best local fish dishes, then this restaurant certainly won't disappoint. The service was fantastic and there were several complementary dishes. Expect to pay more than your average Indian. It was a perfect setting for my wife and I.
