One of the best chineese, oriental Cusine available in Cochin. The decor is sober. The staff are friendly and courteous. Yes, it is a pretty expensive restaurant being part of the Taj Malabar Hotel. Have been here many times never had to say that I have had a dish that was not good.

An absolutely beautiful setting of the Hotel, the Restaurant gives very classy looks compared to the other two Restaurants. The food was delicious and service nice and the staff very accommodating

I wouldn't say great, but they do present a decent breakfast buffet. Tasty sea food and great service. They even provide dishes outside of their menu! They made sure that my kid enjoyed while we were having our food, by providing complimentary sweets and savories.

The seafood was so fresh. The cuisine was very refined, not overly spicy. Delicious, perfectly balanced flavours. The only comment is there are no vegetable dishes on the dinner menu, which is strange for any restaurant. Although the restaurant is more pricey than other places in Kochi, the quality of the food is worth the money. The service was excellent... More

Excellent set menu. Even though one of us was A la carte they served both of the soup and dessert. Felt very papmered. The shrimp was grilled to prefection. All food served to us was well cooked and balanced with the spice and seasonings. Well worth the slightly higher cost.

Once stayed in Taj Malabar and had exprienced this restaurant. Its a boat shaped sea food restaurant and stands as if you are actually inside a boat. The food is delicious. I would recommend this hotel.

For the evening, we had booked a table for two of us in "Rice Boat", where we were served with the authentic Kerala's cuisine. Variety of fish preparations with typical blend of spices were served. We enjoyed every bite of delicacies served. Fish steamed in banana leaf with authentic Kerala spices was awesome.
