The Old Harbour Hotel is one of the best hotels in Kochi. The restaurant has an outdoor seating (not in monsoons) and serves both local and continental cuisine. I tried the local Kerela dish with rice and buttermilk, which was great. The home made ice-creams are very very good especially the cinnamon...must try! The staff is very friendly and cheerful.... We enjoyed breakfast and lunch here. Breakfast was very nicely prepared. They have a choice of continental or Dosa. Their special jam was so good that we tried to recreate it after getting back home. Wondering if it was pappaya and orange marmalade! Lunch was a special experience. We had a chat with the chef when we asked for light... More

Very stylish & friendly with lovely views over its courtyards, this is well worth a look for that special occasion. ? A tad pricey, but for us the best meal in Fort Cotchi

One of the best meals I have in Cochin, would highly recommend this restaurant. Waiters extremely friendly and helpful and speak good English. Food very tasty, great menu selection only negative thing I could say is I found it slightly over priced. Surrounding and facilities very clean and well kept. I will be visiting again. Gill

Indulged in the seafood platter and the next day had a feast of the other excellent seafood dishes on offer. Would recommend the tandoori pomfret. Delicious food, good atmosphere, excellent staff and a beautiful atmosphere

We ate at the hotel 3 nights and had 3 very good meals. Highlights were the starter of tiger prawns with beetroot and pineapple, tuna fish, spiced fish & tandoori Chicken. The sandwiches we had a couple of lunch times were lovely too. The setting is so lovely and the staff are great.

We were staying at the hotel so tried the restaurant - did not bother to go elsewhere after that. You might have to wait a while as the food is cooked fresh but this gives time for a drink at the table in the garden.

Food of a good quality and variety - served courteously and professionally, in a beautiful setting. One can eat in the gardens which are illuminated at night by dangling lights from the many trees and all the while accompanied by Indian live music. Very atmospheric.
