A piece of heritage at fort cochin (kochi)

Nice restaurant with wine and beer parlour. Kerala has some funny rules regarding hard liquor. So they do not serve anything other than wine and beer. Nice food. I was told it is a 300 year old heritage building from colonial times. , but well maintained. The place has a choice of indoor and outdoor... read more

We really loved having dinner at this beautiful hotel in Fort Cochi. We sat outside in the garden near the pool which was lit up, and there were fairy lights hanging from the trees. It was a romantic, peaceful setting for a nice meal. Live sitar music was being played which added to the atmosphere. The food was nice -... More

We visited for our last dinner in town wanting to treat ourselves. We chose outside seating and the setting was beautiful with live sitar and tabla music played across the pool. Service staff were delightful doing everything possible to protect us from any hungry mosquitoes. The menu is a mix of Western and local Indian dishes, all very tasty and... More

We stayed here for two nights and ate every meal at the restaurant as it was so nice. Every meal was delicious chosen from a varied menu. A great introduction to real Indian food. Recommend a visit

The restaurant benefits from outdoor space (although bites may be a risk) with a band playing on a stage by the pool. The menu isn't particularity long so is light on veggie options. I wouldn't recommend choosing the hotel for the restaurant - but the starters are tasty

I love their restaurant. Courteous staff and well made food. Gorgeous back drop specially at night. We always went in large numbers(6-10) and they managed to serve us properly Did not stay here but it's definitely on my list for next time Must try their princess chocolate

A small, elegant, heritage building on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. Arguably the best location in the city, and the restaurant - with garden seating - has a very pleasant ambience. There is a touch of snootiness about the place though, as they wouldn't give us garden seating even though we went at an odd hour and all but 2... More

We only had a meal here during our only evening in Cochin. The food was delicious. We ate outside, next to the pool and we were entertained with live music. The restaurant is expensive by Indian standards but still great value by western standards. My one criticism would be that portions are somewhat small.

We went here for dinner one night, and kept coming the next days. Beautiful garden set-up, with live tabla music and great service. The food options are not large, but all thats offered on the carte, is surely the best. Incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of service and ambience.
