Great location, authentic old-world charm (including the snootiness) and good food!

I love their restaurant. Courteous staff and well made food. Gorgeous back drop specially at night. We always went in large numbers(6-10) and they managed to serve us properly Did not stay here but it's definitely on my list for next time Must try their princess chocolate

We only had a meal here during our only evening in Cochin. The food was delicious. We ate outside, next to the pool and we were entertained with live music. The restaurant is expensive by Indian standards but still great value by western standards. My one criticism would be that portions are somewhat small.

We went here for dinner one night, and kept coming the next days. Beautiful garden set-up, with live tabla music and great service. The food options are not large, but all thats offered on the carte, is surely the best. Incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of service and ambience.

The property is just beautiful, an old Dutch building which has been restored. The restaurant setting was lovely. The food.....the beetroot salad was great, but all the soups we tried we just about ok. Lots of mosquitoes so do carry your spray on repellant. But there are mosquitoes everywhere in Kochi so better to have an odomos handy at all... More

Whilst in the top 3 hotels to stay in, it's the restaurant that makes this place special. Sitting in the outdoor garden, with excellent live music from across the pool, the menu is superb and the quality of food does not disappoint. With a small but ok wine list, this is the place to sit, unwind, and enjoy this peaceful... More

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Fort Kochi, drawn back by the beautiful garden setting and excellent food, with fine classical Indian music accompaniment. It is quite expensive by local standards, but not outrageously so, and the cooking is refined and elegant, with careful service.

Lots of tasty sauce and intricately presented but fish dishes were short on fish. Plenty of mosquitos and service indifferent.

We. had a number of meals at this restaurant during our stay in Kochi . The garden is lovely and lit tastefully at night. There is also Indian music which is played by the pool. It is very soothing and atmospheric. In short, the ambience is very pleasant. The waiters are friendly and efficient. The food is delicious. A good... More
