This was the best meal we had inthe whole of a three week stay in India - and the competion was a lot of other home cooking in village homestays. The coconut prawn curry was simply delicious. The ambience and decor isn't great but the quality of tyhe food more than makes up for it. Strongly recommended.

I went there because of all the recommendations from the web and some people around here. I tried the coconut prawns and it tasted really nice, but everything else about this place seemed to fail. The service was VERY slow, I had to wait for my dinner for almost 90 minutes.. Really hard to get drinks or contact with the... More

Casa Linda, named for the hotel it is apart of (like all tourist restaurants in Kerala), offers a relatively small (but sufficient) local cuisine menu in additional to the standard “continental” options. The waitress/chef's wife strongly recommends the Coconut Prawns, as do all the reviewers online. Getting that and one of the best mango lassi's I have had in India... More

Simple and friendly place. Nice view of the church through the open windows. The coconut prawns really do live up to the hype ( and the bold print!). Lime rice and paratha were also nicely done.

Casa Linda is an OK place for a simple meal; everything was fresh and well presented. However, it is noisy as buses pass just under the open windows. Otherwise, it is cheap and good.

My husband and I were recommended by our group travel leader to try Kochi cuisine at Casa Linda's restaurant. The Kerala Fish Curry was exquisite and Coconut Prawns divine. Aroma and her husband Dipu are both excellent chefs, and I was particularly interested, after savouring this lovely curry, medium hot and tangy with what I thought was tamarind, when Aroma... More

Then you should eat here. It's like eating at their house. They take such good care of their guests. In particular, the hostess took care of our baby while my wife ate her meal. As everyone says, the coconut prawns are amazing, but we also really enjoyed their masala prawns, eggplant masala, and paneer mahkani. Super fresh and tasty food.

We visited Casa Linda on a very quiet evening and found ourselves in a very simple but spotless clean surrounding. A few colored walls, white and green checkered tableclothes. The menu has both local specialties and western style dishes. A nice choice of fish and seafood. Each and every food we ordered was delicious. We recommanded especially the fish Mollie... More

...I had so far visiting Kerala. It has been recommended by Waltons Homestay (also an excellent place to stay) and the Coconut Prawns were so delicious that if I wasn"t leaving town the next day I definitely would have attended her cooking course. The service was very friendly and so was everything else. Totally recommend it!

We did a round trip in South India and this was definitely the best food we had. We were a bit sceptical as it did not look perfect from the outside. It was worth trying. The coconut rice and the coconut prawns were amazing. The service was excellent and at the end of the dinner we had a nice chat... More
