If you visit Bangalore, eating Dosas at Vidyarthi Bhavan should be one of the items on your to-do list. Form waiting outside the hotel for your turn, being led to your table, being served and you walking out while you pay is an experience in it self. The taste and the fragrance of ghee will linger around you long after... More

Vidyarthi Bhavan, centrally located at Gandhi Bazar, Basavangudi, Bangalore, amidst vegetable market serves delicious and tasty South Indian breakfast. We like the Dosa at this restaurant. We went for our breakfast at 7.15 AM and and we waited for about 20 minutes to get a seat. Such is the demand for the restaurant. Housed in a small building, has earned... More

I went to have breakfast and saw that there was a waiting, atleast 30 people were ahead of me and after waiting for 15 mins I got a place. The menu is limited but what stands out is the turn around time. Must say it's very efficiently managed and you can see their staff serving 10-15 dosas in one go.... More

The Best Best and The Best place to have Masala Dosa and Filter Coffee or Tea. Situated on Gandhi Market Road and gets crowded after 7:30am. Yes! that's true after 7:30. Please check the timings before going as in between it is closed for sometime of and on through out the day.

Over crowded place, with people waiting next to your table. Menu is very limited with a lot of waiting time. Even the quantity they make each day is limited. If you are late, some of the menu items might already have been over for the day. The dosas are very oily, not great taste either. The way they carry 18-20... More

The dosas are not so great. I find them too oily. Packed at all times. Limited menu but people still line up.They have renovated a couple of years ago but retained all the old charm. Parking is a nightmare. Weekends are to be avoided nless you go there before 8 AM. Restaurant opens very early.

This a traditional place service Dosa for a long time. They serve authentic Karnataka style dosa that is crisp and thick. They make great coconut chutney that goes along with it. This is a must have Dosa experience in my opinion.

Awesome place for breakfast.. Again, Go early and avoid waiting inside. I like the way dose is served to all the waiting folks . 20 of them at one time . Also try rave vada and coffee.

Have seen many good eat outs ome and go, some still there bt much diluted taste fare, not this one. When everything has changed in Bangalore these guys keep the... More
