Food that is finger-licking-good served in a fantasy land of Samarkand. This is how I would summarize this restaurant. My husband took here to surprise me and I must say that I was really surprised. The ambience is great with big paintings & mirrors and interiors decorated to lift you to a different world altogether that you forget you are... More

The only thing which was tasty was: ONION salad. Chicken starter was so tasteless ,quantity was so less ,not at all worth. The horrible mutton ever had till now ,no spices ,no taste And over the top Such a poor service . Even after giving them the feedback regarding their food and service they hardly were concerned.Total waste of money... More

Visited the place after my friend recommended it for the Biriyani. The food and service was below average. The seating was dirty and dusty, the dim lighting hid it al. The Place is too expensive for what they offer.

Very good ambiance, but the food could have been much better, and we were charged 130rs extra for something which we did not eat or order, we came to know only after we reach home.

Ambience: Food: the bread sticks with assorted dips comes first this is complimentary. Soup/Starters -Tamatar/ Chuze ka shorbha is good as it cleanses your palate for the 'ROBUST' food about to enter! Paneer Peshwari, Galawati kebab is b$$$ rich...but ever so succulent .....mmmm. for the main course - Dal Makhani a must try....Nali ka salan (comes with small afghani rotis...I... More

I liked the food and the ambience of this place. Try the dips with bread sticks. Chicken is good. Though the restaurant could be a little more hygienic which was missing. Toilets are very poorly maintained- also could reflect on hygiene of kitchen.

Last weekend, we visited Samarkand. The ambience is very unique - northwest frontier province. Food menu is printed on the newspaper while liquor menu is on bottle. The waiters are dressed in black pathani dress with the head gear. You can also see the kitchen where Kababs are being grilled in the tandoors. BJN truly walks an extra mile to... More

Beautifully done ambiance which takes you back in time to Samarkand, this place has authentic cuisine. We went for dinner and it was lovely to hear the ghazals being played in the background. We were first served colorful bread sticks with array of chutneys .Btw, it was complimentary for everyone. The raw papaya chutney was yummy. The menu card is... More
