They were playing train songs while we were there, and sitting in the rail carriage I could almost imagine the countryside rolling by as we had our meal. The meal itself was pretty good but they had me the moment I stepped into the carriage. This would be the average person's Palace on Wheels.

Jammu ka Rajma is all I really remember. But their was plenty of other great food on the table too. I loved the Rajma and the Rajputana lal maas. The service was top notch, just what you expect from a great place like this. The ambiance was also superb. Even though, initially I thought maybe the place would feel congested,... More

Ambience excellent. Great food, excellent service. Gives you the feeling of the erstwhile royalty traveling by train. Seating is available on the 'platform' as well! Their Dum Mutton Biriyani is super and the Rajastani Laal Maas. Many dishes are interestingly named like the Dak Bangla chicken So do go through the menu card. Clean and comfortable. Desserts are good too.

Sahib Sindh Sultan is one of the classiest restaurant in Bangalore. With the bogey set-up, waiters dressed like chefs of some king and the royal feel provide a great atmosphere for a dinner. The service is good, staff is well trained and the ambience is simply amazing. The only issue that I have with this restaurant is the price -... More

What to write? I went with my family on a Saturday to treat my kids to Forum Mall in Bangalore and when I entered the lift, i requested the operator to take me to the floor where Sahib Sindh Sultan is located. He said "saab, woh toh bundh hai".. I was amused but still asked him "aaj chutti hai kya?... More

Firangi paani used to be one of the nice place, under Pub category. But seems it has lost its charm now. Old 90's english music(Brittany Spears, BSB, etc.) will make you think you've come back in time(but not in a good way). TV will be playing Animal Planet, which is totally mood off considering the place. The waiters also seem... More

I happened to visit Sahib Sindh Sultan a few months back, accidentally :) :) We had actually planned to eat at another famous place in Koramangala, but as fate had it, we got delayed from a movie we saw together, thanks to half an hour commercials during the movie interval (PVR does this to you always and they are good...
