This place, by the look and atmosphere, pretends to be a very high end restaurant. Fact is that other than the beautyfull interior design and ambient, beside the service, the sushi is a NO-NO. Fish was not fresh ... and if raw fish is not fresh you can barely eat it. Rools and makis were made very badly and as... More

It is very difficult to find international cuisine in India, definitely in Bangalore. While in the US, we had developed a taste for Japanese food, especially sushi, sashimi, unagi don, etc. I have had the good fortune of visiting Tokyo twice, and have visited an excellent Japanese restaurant in Brunei. So finally when we found a Japanese restaurant in Bangalore,... More

I have been to this restaurant last week with my family and friends. The ambiance, seating style & Food were awesome. The Sushis were delicious. Enjoyed being there for a get-together. However, the service is very poor. There was a major delay in delivering the order. In-fact, especially when you are seated in the wooden floored room, you hardly can... More

Eaten here twice & will make it a regular whenever we're in Blr. Dinner the first time & a set lunch another time. Was not disappointed either time. Great setting too & very artistic, peaceful, good Zen vibes! The server could smile a little more, that's the only criticism I have!

i love sushis and sashimis! and i missed it while living in India. But i missed a lot a simple bowl of udon or o fresh tofu salad. Harima, hidden in the Devatha plaza brought all those to me. As soon as i am in Bangalore i go there, with friends, family or for a romantic dinner. just simply love... More

Have mixed experiences as sometimes the quality was good but in last 2 visits the quality was really atrocious... The sushi was not well made, the rice was inconsistent and overall it was stale and presentation too was bad :(

I tried Kaisen-don, Oyako-don, Assortment of Yakitori, Buta-syogayaki. The quality is one of the best in India. The served portion is not so big, then we can enjoy various Japanese dishes. (This means that it is NOT good in terms of cost / performance. If you want to try Japanese food there, I do recommend this good restaurant. But the... More

This was my first visit to a Japanese restaurant in India. And having visited Japanese restaurants in UK, USA, and Japan - I am confident is stating that the food tasted fairly authentic to me - albeit I am no connoisseur! The décor and ambience is quiet and peaceful. We were offered wet towels when we walked in which were... More

From the interior design to the food, i think harima is authentically japanese. The interiors made you feel very comfortable. I like that they give you a towel when you take your seat, to freshen yourself before ordering! Go for the lunch set menu which we did to get the most out of your rupee. True enough it tasted good... Brilliant , Liked the food. Based on Japanese model, the hotel has some of the best Japanese food. The tempura were really good.
