Nice ambience but noisy

I was here with my wife. Food is great even vegetarian curries and starters are great. The restaurant has Mughal theme. Service is good but staff are noisy. They keep yelling at each other and plus there were kids jumping around with no one to control. May be we were at bad hour but food... read more

Though I'm writing about my most recent visit, I have been to this restaurant several times in the past few years, and I've never been disappointed in the food. I've never tried the veg. main dishes and cannot vouch for those, but I am yet to taste a non veg dish that I didn't love. The desserts are good too.... More

We went to Jalsa around a week ago. Nice place and authentic north Indian taste. The chef obviously is experienced and knows how to work with the flavors. They have valet parking so that takes care of your parking woes. The ambiance is good, if you have taste for the glitzy and for over the top. The entire staff make... More

This is my second review for this place.Took my family for lunch and was disappointed. We requested starters to be hot but it just came with a lot of masala on it which completely supressed the meat's flavour. But the tandoori chicken was excellent and I must admit that it was one of the best tandoori i had in a... More

After a long thought we decided to go to Jalsa to celebrate our anniversary. It was surprise for my wife. She was happy with the ambiance and it was amazing feeling when we entered inside. The ambiance, look, decor everything was Mughal style and even the staff where also in mughal attire. Then came time for ordering food, which we... More

I was taken here for lunch during a recent business trip to Bangalore. A group of eight of us were given one of the private rooms off the central dining area, and enjoyed an excellent experience. Our hosts ordered many starters and main dishes, both vegetarian and non-, and all of them were tasty and unique. The fact that the... More

The decor, the ambiance, the food... I liked everything... I have been there 2 3 times, everything it was to good to be there. But last time, I reached with a friend and as we were just two, we were given a small table in a corner with just chairs. I was disappointed and shown them my displeasure and left... More

The ambience of this place is sure different, a mughal style restraunt with very nice decor. Food however is not so brilliant. I tried the tomato soup and that was horrible! The chicken patyala and mushroom starter was nice though but nothing too extraordinary.
