MTR masala dose is unique.

Been going to this place ever since it opened in Indiranagar 100ft road. MTR masala dose is their usp. Tried the full meal once but nothing great. Lately the hygiene seems to be deteriorating. Soil marks on the walls etc. Needs to maintain the upscale look

In the last twenty years, this is one of the restaurant I have frequented umpteen times - Really liked their quality of food and especially Masala Dosa and Coffee. My last few visits were dis-heartening - Their quality of food seems to be deteriorating and there is no fun in visiting this great place again! It seems to have set... More

Regularly I go to this hotel.Recently I went for breakfast and I found thay cleanliness and quality has slightly detoriated.Noe as we grow we dont like waiting in a congested place.I sincierly feel that ld charm has lost or new group of hotels has taken over.Atleast some renovation or expansion changed.Hotel management should understand that customers mind set has also... Good Welcome. Most important is that this is a Pangat or batch system which runs 2 batches in Morning and 2 in evening. You have to wait till batch starts. As an starter Kesar sharbat in Silver glass is served. Then starts actual lunch or dinner, which starts by few rasams and vegetables and a Rice. After eating, you think... More

A must visit for any food lover. Its economical and serves traditional south indian snacks. Everything is awesome be it the dosa, the upma, rava idli etc. etc. Coffee is good but not so outstanding. And yeah, if you go for a breakfast, 90% chances are that you will end up having a brunch :P

I remember the MTR of my childhood when everything was 'Pure" and we had t o wait for tables to empty at 8 am. We would have walked in Lalbagh nearby and had worked up and appetite. The coffee was Mysore filtered and the whole place was "CLEAN' and sanitised. it is still very good but the dosais are not... More

This was recommended by a friend & basis word of mouth-MTR Lal Bagh exceeded it. It's an old mansion with various rooms on multiple levels.Seating is typical to a mess style , various people sharing one table truly indicating "Food Unites people".South Indian food was simply superb with budget pricing.I would compare this outlet with Chandini Chowk of Delhi where... MTR as it is known locally, for a connoisseur of South Indian Thindies, is a heaven. The rava idli masala dosa and even idli is served well and hot. Beware of queues and get there early. A place not to be missed if you enjoy this type of food. Lunch is on the heavier side if you want to it... More
