Not really the best coffee of my trip however the best seating area of the entire region. Decent service with complementary wifi from restaurant. Spinach Corn sandwich was not in list and prepared as an exception and yet better then what I expected it to be.

They had coffee and they had Wi-Fi which, to be honest, were enough for me but apart from that the coffee house had a homely, cozy warmth and feel to it. The coffee was great, no doubt but the people here really made us feel at home. We left quite late here to return the next day for some more... More

The best thing about Yama: The Wi-Fi that worked at decent speed then comes the coffee with excellent taste and aroma. The servers come third who were very warm and inviting, just like the interior of the coffee house itself. The crowd there made the atmosphere lively and the prices made us lose control.

It was a very peaceful evening for us here. We had stopped for a cup of coffee but ended up having a very heavy snack. The best is the crowd here, very lively but not boisterous. The staff is very friendly. Excellent coffee and Wi-Fi making it a good hangout zone for all.

How good it is to sit down in the quiet courtyard with an excellent coffee. When the internet is working the wifi is great. People love this place to long sessions of sitting, journal writing or trek planning.

My husband and I pre-arranged a trek with Namgial via email in July 2013. We only had ten days in Ladakh and wanted to make sure that we used every day! Namgial was extremely helpful in answering all our questions about packing, acclimatization, travel to Leh, etc. After our long trip from Toronto, Canada, it was wonderful to be picked... More

Better coffee than Open Hand that's for sure. The food was average but the pastries are the same as the German Bakeries which made us wonder whether they all come from the same place. For the coffee, it was worth it and we enjoyed the rustic surrounding.

The macchiato was delicious! Made several trips to Yama Coffee before and after our fascinating trek to see the Kharnak Nomads with Yama Adventures this past July. We enjoyed our coffee and tea in the tree covered terrace while reminiscing about the great time we had on the trek with Tashi and the crew.

Yama Coffee House is great place to relax with good coffee, breakfast & lunch. Close to downtown markets & Shanti Stupa for excellent Leh experiences. Proprietor Nilza & her friendly staff will take good care of you. Relax on the patio with a good meal and excellent coffee & borrow a book from their in-store library. Our group enjoyed several...
