Description: Bon Appetit is located in a quiet, verdant corner of the main town area on the Changspa road. The restaurant has two spaces, an indoor area with a fireplace and an outdoor spot amidst a garden and a spectacular view of the Stok Kangri range. Our cuisine is mainly Continental with some Asian influences and a smattering of tandoori and barbecued items. We take pride in using mostly organic, local vegetables, part of which we grow ourselves. From time to time we have live musical performances by locals and travellers. Sunday brunches, sunset barbecues are on the cards for this year..Bon Appetit to all!

Visited this place for lunch, we had read great reviews about the place on TA. Bon Appetit is located in the inner lanes of changspa road. The place looks like a french chalet (very different from what you would see in Leh)and is lovely. They serve a lot of cuisines, hence there wasn't too much choice in a single cuisine.... More

We ate here several times, always for lunch (tried breakfast but they didn't open til 11am). It is very nicely designed inside, and has great views of the Stok Kangri range. Some outside seating, usually ruined by loser smokers - you know, the kind whose innate coolness (wow dude, he's in India, and he's, like, smoking, I have to be... More

The place is open all day, has wifi (most times) and then doesn't apologise for not changing the menu very often. It's our fault we spend almost every day there as a craving as a get away from hotel or guesthouse food. Fresh tomato soup and fresh carrot soup to start. Fresh salads including tomato and balsamic and greek salad,... More

Small portions and not what I expected. Maybe if you like new age music and fancy sauces on the plate without much food. Not a great value/

I am generally a bit skeptical about these restaurants that offer all kinds of dishes (indian, continental, tibetan, chinese and many other options...) as they generally don't serve great food, but this restaurant offers delicious dishes. The staff is friendly, they also have nice pastries and this is the right place for breakfast, lunch an dinner.

The place is good, in terms of location, nice view of mountains silhouettes in its frontage. But they have either become complacent knowing that they are considered to be the best in Leh or they want to serve only the foreigners.

Don't let the narrow roads leading up to this restaurant fool you. The location of this restaurant have absolutely excellent views. The minimalist ladhaki interiors coupled with good food make any evening here ideal. You must try the Junglee Tea, a concoction with Ladakhi tea and Rum. :)
