I was so glad to find this place because it is difficult to find a good cafe in Leh. I first went to Coffeesutra in the main bazaar, but their machine was made for the domestic kitchen...and it was broken. Pancakes are good! Eggs were ok, maybe a bit overpriced. Bathroom was clean, but of course no TP. Definitely for... More

Its a boutique cafe with great ambiance. Free wifi running at good speeds. Prices are decent enough but the location isn;t great. Its located at the end of a dark lane with no lights for about 300 meters. The food we ordered had great presentation but the taste was very average, nothing to really talk about

Great cafe to relax, unwind catch up on wifi and enjoy a coffee. Time just whiles way here. Nice food and cakes and good quality fairtrade souvenirs on display.

A great place to relax, get a small lunch, and a tea. More pricey than the rest of Leh but somewhat reliable wifi. Definitely where the tourists hang out, hard to pass up one of their scarves!

My first morning in Leh I happened to stumble over Open Hand Cafe – and ended going back every day for the month I stayed in Ladakh! This is a very chilled out place which boasts an extensive breakfast menu, delicious cakes, and fresh salads. There's an outdoor courtyard which is perfect for soaking up the early morning sun, or... The open hand cafe is a typical traveller cafe, where you can get cakes and the best coffee in town. You can sit outside. I enjoyed the ginger lemon honey tea. The Thali is very tasty, but better don't try the thai curry. thailand is too far away and it has a very special taste, Which doesn't have anything to... More

Headline says it all really. In a town where a fresh lime soda in a glass, at a decent place to eat, normally sets you back 25-40 Rs, what are these guys up to? Ten per cent of that is a "service charge" - precisely what it is levied for I wasn't sure, as the service was as lacklustre as... More

This is by far simply the best place to get a good coffee in Leh. There are always friendly staff and good music. You can use the free Wifi.
