Description: A restaurant with both indoor and outdoor sitting, serving authentic Ladakhi food and the best of Asian cuisine. Vegetables are sourced from our very own organic farm and from local farmers. A communal dining concept with the chance to meet new people and share travel experiences. As the saying goes "There are no strangers, only friends you have not met yet." Conversation abounds at Chopsticks Noodle Bar, where we have chosen to keep it unplugged. We made that choice deliberately. You'll see people sharing tables, enjoying their meal and just talking. We promise a dining experience with less distraction and more interaction. Open for lunch and dinner.

All is nice, service, taste, atmosphere, nature of owener. Chopsticks is the best restaurant I've ever been in India. I recommend you to order special biriyani. It is not the normal biriyani. It reminded me of Japanese curry rice. However, it is not typicsl Japanese curry rice. You cannot forget its taste at the moment putting spoon into your mouth.... More

Brillian ambience with decorative ornaments on the walls. We opted to sit outdoors and it has wonderful music with just the right amount of lighting. The Phad Thai was super and so was the spring rolls. A few unique dishes we were too terrified to try but the owner recommended them and oh boy, we are glad we did try... More

I visited Chopsticks on Aug 24 2014 and it was an awesome experience. The food the ambience and the service is 5 star class. Whats even better is how economical it is. It is centrally located in the main market which helps getting there n back. Oh yeah the crowd is great too from all across the world. Truly a... More

Julley! Thank you so much for the wonderful review!! We are thrilled to have feedback like this and to be able to praise our team on their performance. We really appreciate your compliments on our food, service and ambience. The “communal dining” concept is still very new to India, especially Leh. As Ladakh is filled with tourists from so many... Four of us very hungry vegetarians, all with adult-sized appetites, had a fantastic meal here. It was not the top-ranked when we looked up the on-line reviews but it attracted us nevertheless, and more than lived up to expectations.... We sat in the out-door section where the ambience was very pleasant. There were also big tables to seat larger groups... More

Julley! Thank you for the amazing review and generous rating. We are glad that you decided to give us an opportunity even though we are not the top-ranked restaurant on line. We generally do not rely too much on on-line reviews when we travel. This is because we know for a fact that competitors of a business often resort to... More

Around leh I have been taste with many restaurants but still chopstick is very different taste in its name. Very tasty, hygienic foods in multi cuisine, with active staffs where we have option place to eat (open terrace and restaurant inn) and about their decoration and furnishing were in best shape. Julley! What a wonderful review and generous rating. Thank you! We are extremely glad that you recognize our uniqueness. Chopsticks is the first restaurant of its kind in Ladakh, with three main areas of focus: the menu, the service and the atmosphere. The menu is unique for Leh as it provides a sampling of the best dishes from various regions... More

As a Singaporean-Chinese living in Mumbai for the past 2 years, I usually shun restaurants that claim to be serve "Chinese" food or "Pan Asian" or a whole range of food from "Chinese" to "Indian" to "Thai" etc. Experience has taught me that most dishes would be very "Indianised". But I was desperate for a decent bowl of Thukpa and... More

Julley! Thank you for the absolutely wonderful and detailed review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed our famous Momos and Thukpa. We are actually the first (and probably still the only) restaurant in Leh to offer Ladakhi cuisine. As Ladakhis, we felt it was important for tourists to experience authentic Ladakhi cuisine when they travel to Ladakh, the way... More

A very nice place, not too hot in the day, not too cold in the evening (knowing Leh, you'll appreciate that). Great noodles (cheap price), beer at a fair price, and nice food from all over Asia, served with a smile : a nice place to eat in Leh.
