Located on the Fort Road, this restaurant serves excellent Tibetan Food. We had the Thukpa and some really good freshly grilled trout. It is a nice ambience, but there seems to be too few waiters, since food takes a long time to be served. But in that location, it is probably the best restaurant there. But I do wish they... More

Very nice atmosphere & good preparations, especially the Tibetan dishes were excellent! Prompt service, though they often run out of tables. Very popular restaurant in Leh.

Authentic food with nice garden sitting... Value for money. Located right in the heart of Leh market and yet away from the crowd.

Having been to Lhasa a few years ago, I was after some real Tibetan tasting food. Tibetan kitchen did not fail to produce exactly that. The popularity of the place is a testimony to its great food and service. Book ahead as it tends to be quite full.

If you ask in leh which is the best place to eat ..everyone without batting a kid points to this place. And it was equally lip smacking... I was impressed the people managing the show..they remembered us from Previous visit ,what we ordered last time and where we sat!! Since we had to wait they offered to reserve a seat... More

We wanted a table outside but got space to sit inside the restaurant coz it was so busy. Every dish we ordered was superb and we ordered a lot. The tibetan dishes were excellent. So was the fresh, grilled trout. While a bit pricey, the taste made up for it.

What you will be exactly looking for, the tibetan food. You will find it there. You must try thupka soup, trout fish, momos (both steamed and fried).... Not very pricy either

My friend and I discovered Tibetan Kitchen purely by chance. We asked our travel agent friend to recommend a restaurant to have a nice dinner - and he suggested us this place. Situated in a lane off fort road, we missed the restaurant two times! Finally, when we got there, it was a sight in itself - happy revelers having... More
