Although I have a slight preference for Norlakh restaurant, I also like Tenzin Dickey's place. Her food is tasty, affordable, safe and well-prepared. The ambience is nothing special, but it's OK. A lot of locals eat here.

We went in looking for supposedly the "best momo's in leh" but they were very dry and not very nice. The best thing was the herbal tea, which we later bought 20 bags for Rs.115.

I have had quite some thenktuks and thukpa's in Leh... This is the best!! also their momo's and other items are great. Just make sure to come before 21:00 or you'll have nothing left! special thenktuk is the most recommended.

When we went there, the lady overseeing things seemed distracted and the momos though arrived after the Thukpa, seemed either stale or not cooked all the way through. Did not feel the place engulf us in great warmth or anything.

We were very excited about this place espec when we were travelling with a vegan. They had vegan posters everywhere but discovered hardly any vegan choices. we think there was a confusion between vegetarian and vegan. The place was dirty and the cook when he appeared gave us very little confidence on the cleanliness of the kitchen. It's a very... More

Momo soup to die for an the creamiest chocolate pudding when you're feeling a bit low due to altitude sickness. This was my absolutely favourite restaurant in Leh. The lady of the house was happy to oblige when we wanted extra hot water in our tea and the food, though sometimes a little slow to come, was so delicious. The... More

Ate here a couple of times due to the quality of the food and how quickly it is prepared and on your table. Had the Special Thenthuk (90 rupees) which was packed with vegies, egg and another unknown tasty ingredient. Am a big eater and after the Thenthuk I battled to get through the very tasty and piping hot steamed... More

This place is simple, but it has some of the best vegetarian food in town, especially for Tibetan food. Love the momos!

This is a humble place with basic tibetan dishes, soups, rice and noodles, but you must go there and try the Special Thenthuk and their momos, the best momos in town. And is really one of the cheapest restaurants in Leh.
