cheap tibetan food

Huge portions, everything freshly prepared after ordering. Especially the chilli and garlic chowmein and the vegetable Momos are recommended

The hotel is located in the center of the Leh market. The thukpa and the momos are simple but tasty. A definite must try.

Where do I start? The waiter lad spoke no English. Despite there being several drink options on the menu, they had "none" (each time we asked we were told "No". Only awful herbal tea that tasted of nothing. The food took almost 45 mins to come out and was tasteless and bland. Only good thing was it was cheap!!

We visited this place in August 2014 for dinner. Nice cozy ambience. Many locals and foreigners visit this place. The place offers vegetarian tibetan food. But eggs are included in menu. The previous day it was completely occupied. Very delicious chilly garlic fried rice was served to us. But the menu was restricted. The place has many stickers of vegetarianism... More

Although I have a slight preference for Norlakh restaurant, I also like Tenzin Dickey's place. Her food is tasty, affordable, safe and well-prepared. The ambience is nothing special, but it's OK. A lot of locals eat here.

We went in looking for supposedly the "best momo's in leh" but they were very dry and not very nice. The best thing was the herbal tea, which we later bought 20 bags for Rs.115.

I have had quite some thenktuks and thukpa's in Leh... This is the best!! also their momo's and other items are great. Just make sure to come before 21:00 or you'll have nothing left! special thenktuk is the most recommended.

When we went there, the lady overseeing things seemed distracted and the momos though arrived after the Thukpa, seemed either stale or not cooked all the way through. Did not feel the place engulf us in great warmth or anything.
