Awesome food and an even better hostess.... That's the best way to describe Il Forno.... The pizzas are the very best u can get in manali... I love the ham cheese bruschetta here.... We visited the place on 11th July, 2015 and were pleasantly surprised. I have often found that places which enjoy high TripAdvisor ratings are underwhelming and that their early success has gone to the owner's head, turning him in to an apathetic snob. Back from our Manali-Leh bike trip, I wanted to stop by at IL forno having read the great reviews and craving good pizza. Before I get to the food, what strikes you about IL forno is the great decor and the lovely owner. This place has a perfectly tranquil setting - it overlooks the snow capped mountains, has a small apple orchard & a 150 year old packing house converted into a small restaurant with a huge sit out. The place is on the way to Hadimba Temple. Its a quiet place surrounded by nature. The food was good and loved the overall ambience as well.
