This place was the best thing to be in Manali. Really the cuisine served here was great and authentic. I have been there n number of times during my stay in manali. The place is artfully decorated with visitors reviews..very interestingly displayed and maintained. Must visit place when you are in Manali.

Finally I visited Il Forno, after all these years. A wonderful place to just sit back with your beer and their great wood-oven pizzas. Wonderfully located, very near to the Hadimba Temple. We went there for a late lunch after coming back from a trek and loved the place so much, we ended up staying way more than we expected... More

IL Forno is one of the few, actually the only restaurant we saw opened inside a 150 year old heritage house. The heritage house has been preserved well, this adds a lot of character to the cafe. Saw this was number 1 on TripAdvisor for restaurants and figured we would give it a go. Quite sceptical upon arrival as the place was empty but found out later that this was because it was off season. Pizza was authentic and tasty. We had a yummy bites at II Forno. Yummy Pizza's & Italian Food. But we were not being warmly welcomed by the hotel person Mr. Pritam. He was just very not hostile with us. Foodwise positive, Hospitality negative....

Nice place, nice ambiance, amazing and yummy pizzas and pastas. Friendly host. No ketchup though.. Wonder Why? All in all a good place to hangout and have yummy food.
