One of the good places to eat in Old Manali!

As the heading says Café 1947 is one of the good places to eat in Old Manali in a flood of small eating joints. The food at this place be it sandwich, trout fish, pizza or spring rolls were above average compared to what you usually get elsewhere in Manali. As mentioned by fellow travellers this... read more

Located in the Old Manali market this is a very quaint place serving fantastic trout!. The option of siting by the river side and enjoying their signature dish is out of this world

With options for two levels of indoor as well as outdoor seatings, all with a different flavor, this place offers you good food as well as good ambience as per your mood. Though a tad bit in the expensive side compared to the neighborhood cafes.

Visited recently with friends and had a great time. The bollywood music night was awesome. Hope to visit the cafe again. Didnt get to see the stream as it was dark outside. The toilets are at a creepy location, ideal for serial killers. Everything else is top notch!

The cafe sits on the Old Manali Road, but is also next to a stream. So you can choose where to sit. In the wonderfully cosy rooms or on a verandah under willow trees by swirling waters. The vibe is great, the place is generally full of people from different parts of the world, which is to say, of Old Manali anyway. You can sit down or use one of the tables depending on your taste and the seating available. There was... More
