Compared to some of the other South India Places such as Sagar in Defence Colony, Saravanan Bhavan in Connaught Place, this is an average place. Having said that, it is convenient and close to our home, so acceptable, decent food with no travel time :-)

I am a regular visitor at Navaidyam Kalkaji in New Delhi. It is a marvellous place. Very good taste and really southy with every ingredient in true proportion neither too much nor too little just fine and sufficient. Even children and oldies enjoy it too. It is light on stomach and yet enough for the diet. Good location ( in... More

It offers South Indian food (Only Vegetarian) with quite a variety. The taste is good. For a South Indian, the restaurant may not be good as they will find the taste different from original, Menu much smaller compared to the regular fare, and price too high; but for rest it is a good place to be. The starting Rasam or... More

A cool shaded place with ample seating. You are welcomed by a glass of buttermilk. Boys are in traditional south Indian attire. Nice ambience. good food at great prices. The food helpings are also large. Do not order too much at once if you don't like wasting food.

This place offers great South Indian food. One of the most important part of a good south Indian eatery is Sambhar and this place serves very good sambhar. Moreover it also serves 3 kinds of chutneys which are also very good. Ambience could certainly be better. But overall a very economical place to have good food.

Decent south indian fare here. Had meals which was very decent and the dosa was also pretty good along with sambhar vada. Have always maintained - best test is always that of the taste of sambhar and here they pass. Good food, though ambience could be made better to that of a fine dine.

My mother and I invariably elect to eat at Naivedyam because at 11 am, its quiet, the idlis, dosas, coconut chutney and sambar are terrific, the service is excellent, no sooner have you taken the last spoonful of sambar than the bearer appears magically to pour you more!

Served by polite staff characteristically dressed in white dhoti & kurta, tasty South Indian food. I love the mini tiffin thali which consists of five dishes, reasonable size portions served piping hot. I love the starter " Rasam" Whao!!!. Very reasonable priced.
