A combination of attentive service a fresh figs flown in each day from all around the Indian Coast makes this a great experience and contrast to other Delhi restaurants Pepper fried prawns great starter, better than the crab cakes. Catch of the day grilled is a favourite!

Eating by yourself on a business trip can be a bit boring but the staff at Amaranta did a great job of making this a memorable meal. The food was delicious - all recommended by the very friendly & knowledgeable waiting staff. The highlight was the lobster in a local curry sauce - it was delicious! Not a cheap meal... More

At last a restaurant that bravely ventures where few Indian restaurants had the courage to do before - exploring the best of Indian Coastal food from across the country in neo modern fashion! only the Oberois can manage to do this in an opulent yet very understated manner!

Seafood lovers can tend to feel a bit stifled in Delhi given that there aren't very many such restaurants in the city. Amaranta is a breathe of fresh air. The quality of the sea food is second to none. To top it all, there is the Oberois hospitality to spoil you. Having eaten there a few times by now and... More

Living in Delhi has its pros and cons. One of the biggest cons for a foodie would probably be that being landlocked and so far from the sea, it is quite difficult to get good quality, fresh sea food. The Amaranta delivers on that account. As explained by the restaurant manager, the sea food is flown in fresh on a... More

Amaranta, at the Oberoi in Gurgaon is hailed as the fine dining South Indian offering in the Oberoi in Gurgaon and I must say, it certainly lives up to the “fine” part of its label. The “dining” part of that phrase did leave a lot to be desired. I went with someone who stays at the hotel frequently and was... More

Been to this Oberoi Gurgaon restaurant several times. Service is amazing and the flavors focused on fresh fish and seafood are pretty amazing. Downside is that it tends to be quite pricey but that is normal for hotel restaurants in India. Have never had a bad item and the staff are world class at spoiling you. Nice and quite, comfortable... We finally landed up at Amaranta after several months of recommendations of our friends and relatives and I would say we were not disappointed. The restaurant lived up to its reputation as one of the finest coastal food fine dining places in north India. The complementary appetizers, chutneys and welcome drink were excellent. Pepper Prawns, Andhra fish curry, lamb from... More

Breathtakingly good kitchen. Excellent Indian food with a modern expression. Breathtakingly expensive -compared to Indian standards. Quite sterile environment and a travel away from Delhi center.
