Have been regularly visiting this place ever since it opened at Vijay Cross Roads. They recently, not very though, renovated and revamped their menu as well. Liked the old one better though. Souq has one of the best lebanese I have had in India. The mezzo platter is excellent. Highly recommended.

This was quite an interesting restaurant that i went to with my friend. The overall theme of the restaurant is quite Egyptian with pharaoahs, sphinxes and camels dotted across as part of the interior decor. The atmosphere is quite welcoming and the staff quite friendly. The menu was mostly middle-eastern keeping in with the decor. The menu was completely vegetarian... More

Excruciatingly painful experience. What a let down. Beautifully done restaurant good music & promises of eastern wonder. The service was poor, poor poor most of menu items not available & food was just ok. We wanted to leave but Ramiz the manager insisted he would make the difference & he did. He tried hard to make our experience good -... More

Good experience but lacks authenticity. I had tried Beirut Kebab with Zereshk Rice. Far away from authentic preparation. In Zereshk Rice there is no zereshk(berries), saffron, baharat!!! Only stir-fried with pomegranate. Beirut kebabs only rosted with garlic/peri sauce. Their menu is authentic for menu items only not for food. Then after the taste, garnish, quantity is good. Nice decoration and... More

Horrible experience. We went to their pvr restaurant. We waited for 45 minutes and then when we started ordering and we were told that they ran out of mezze platter and pizzas. We were with 6 children and went there specifically for platter and pizzas. Then we called the chef and instead of apologising he acted rudely with us. The... More

Just came back from a dinner at Souq. Me & my wife have been planning to visit this restaurant for almost 2 years now and finally we made it today. In a line I can say that "I liked this place, but didn't really LOVE it." The exterior facade of the restaurant is quite famous in Ahmedabad now and looks... More

Had I been much much younger & courting, I would have taken my girlfriend for a cosy dinner in this cute, crowded, cramped place which is so romantic. I am reminded of many European cafes & bistros where you cannot help but overhear young lovers coo-cooing. Souq serves Meditteranian, Lebanese, Morroccan, middle-eastern food. The food is tasty. Service is prompt... More
