Arrived at Rising Waves with great expectations as we eat there every holiday It had fallen below par last season but we thought we would give it another go. The food was definitely not up the to expected standard. The waiting time for drinks anything 20+

We must have been the other party of PaulaWales.on Christmas Eve, also with 12 guests. We also had to wait 20 minutes to get a drink after ordering 4 times, he kept forgetting or getting it mixed up, even though he had written it down, then wait to find the bottle opener then wait for some ice, a very poor... What a few years ago was the IN place, now it has been taken over is absolutely awful. Christmas Eve meal, was cold, only two table with approx. 12 - 14 people. Really nice restaurant with a lovely ambiance and great menu. We always eat there, but unfortunately they closed early this season, and we we therefore unable to eat there this year!!

We have stayed in candolim several times and always visit rising waves although the food is still good atmosphere and service not as good the manager sam has left to set up on his own and he is missed.

We visited here while looking for another restaurant and was so pleased I had red snapper hubby had tandoori chicken large portions and knew we would return and we did I had surf and turf which was lovely also Apple pie to die for Irish coffee here was the best we had.

The food was excellent staff were attentive and amusing, shame they have added a big screen TV and shame they haven't changed the changed the Abba tribute tape for three years. Loved the food hated the atmosphere.
