Drove by a couple of months ago and Mom's is CLOSED! This place has been around forever and they just locked it up. The mexican worked that was painting the exterior said another restrauant was opening sometime this summer. We'll miss Mom's home cooking...

Their plates are huge and the prices are great! if you get the smothered burrito, i suggest asking for cheese and green chile, not the "green chile sauce". It was good, don't get me wrong, but it was like white gravy with green chile on it. even the enchiladas were like that lol! but the food was, in fact, good!

My husband and I eat breakfast here every Friday. We are the minority only because we are much younger than most people there early in the morning but i like it. Tina is always our waitress and is a true asset to this establishment:)

Mom's is a great little homey place. We have 6 in our family and they always accommodate us. Always friendly to the kids, and it is a local favorite. The staff is amazing and the food is superb. They have a little of everything, and everything I have tried there is fresh and delicious. They always have a great variety... More

I'm surprised by the reviews of this restaurant. My husband was in Alamogordo on business, and I decided to take a trip to spend some time with him. He had been going here for breakfast, and so I didn't read the reviews before going myself. We had breakfast, and it was great! Most places, when I order my eggs over... More

I've tried a few times to give this place a chance, but the service is always horrible, as well as the food. This time, I am going to stay with my decision of 'no more'!

Mom's had a good review online, so we tried it for lunch. I had the green chile stew which was so salty I couldn't eat it (and I like salt). My husband had a bad turkey sandwich made with processed meat. The booth upholstery was ripped and our area smelled bad. I feel bad writing this since the waitstaff was... More

We've eaten at Mom's a few times, and I've gotten to really like the Reuben Sandwhich. It was loaded with meat, and really hit the spot. Mom's is a nice sit down coffee shop type cafe and is very popular with the locals... I can see why!
