I'm a local resident & have been eating at Memories Restaurant for many years. It's where were go for special occasions. The prices are reasonable & the restaurant is a restored home from 1904. Very Victorian. Their baked potato soup is awesome. The atmosphere is perfect for a special night out. They are also open for lunch. They make their... More

My husband and I ate dinner here twice, one night after the other. The service was excellent; the food was superb. I had the pork tenderloin the first night; the prime rib med-rare the 2nd night. My husband at the red snapper, then the coconut shrimp. Can't get over how delicious the food was. Their home-made rolls are excellent. We... More

Memories is great for a date night, a professional dinner meeting, or lunch hour. You can ask for a quiet area or be in the bustling rooms to see-and-be-seen. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. My personal fave on the menu? Sweet potato fries.

I would actually give this place 3 1/2 stars if possible but since they were very nice and the service was good I'm giving them the benefit . This is a beautiful old Victorian home, the kind of place I love, my husband not so much, but it turned out better for him than for me after I talked him... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere and our food. We really liked the spicy eggrolls- different for us. We made reservations for dinner- which is seemingly a good idea.

Unusual atmosphere. Very good food selection for dinner, only fair for lunch. Service is very poor for both. Staff seem uninterested in customers needs. On one visit, I was brought the wrong meal and the waitress did not replace it or even credit my check! On second visit, I was given my meal minus the vegetables...I was told they would... More

Disclaimer: I last visited this location SEVERAL YEARS ago. This place is absolutely fantastic!! Has a romantic feel...found mainly in a B&B. The food was great and they had the BEST Italian Cream Cake!!! Loved them and although I left Alamogordo several years ago, I still haven't forgotten this place!!!

Cute, old house and great service. Apptezier order quesdillas we ordered the southwestern egg rolls they seemed like frozen TGIF rolls. We should have got the quesadillas. The fish was good and very reasonalbe priced. Would go again to support local businesses.

Memories was recommended to us by the desk clerk at our motel in Alamogordo. How right she was. My friend is from New York City and I'm from Tucson, and we were In town for a photographic journey to White Sands National Monument. We were overwhelmingly pleased by everything about this charming restaurant, housed in what was once a craftsman-styled... More

Memories Restaurant is just off the old downtown, in a charming Victorian house. The first time I was here for lunch, in 2001, it had a slightly German vibe, due to the German Air force influence at Holloman Airbase. The German vibe is gone, but the food is still delicious. They have a daily soup, plus French Onion and Baked... More
