It looks like an expanded Waffle House. we went on Nov 5, the people are extremely friendly, the portions are good, but the food was not as good as earlier trip advisor posts indicated. I found out later that most of the police and fire folks go to a another diner in town for the best breakfast in town. more

This is a bustling breakfast joint with a huge variety of interesting choices, including New Mexico style options like hash browns smothered with green chile. Several guys man a grill right in the middle of the room. Service is refreshingly friendly, as seems to be common in Alamogordo. I found it a great start to a short western vacation. more

If you've just spent the night in Alamogordo, you deserve a decent breakfast. Right next door to Denny's, the Waffle & Pancake Shoppe is a far better choice. Friendly service, a local vibe and a great breakfast burrito. more

Set in what must be an old Waffle House location (with the original fixtures still intact) this greasy spoon has everything you would expect it to have on the menu.
