Good doughnut and breakfast place

Walked here from our hotel for breakfast and enjoyed the food. I had a breakfast sandwich and my partner had a doughnut and coffee. Cashier was friendly and fast. Was a nice quick stop. :)

Sign on the door says certain hours yet the 4 times we've gone by they're closed! If they have changed their hours then the sign needs to reflect the change. Guess I'll never eat here since I don't have time to hang out for when they plan to open.

The shop was clean and service was fine. The donut selection at 7:30am on a Saturday was down a little, but there were still plenty of choices, albeit very orthodox ones. We tried 4 different donuts, and each kind was delicious: very sweet and slightly crispy. I'm sure all four kinds were bad for me, but we were very pleased... More

The donuts were OK and the breakfast sandwich was pretty good but this is not a "service with a smile" kind of place. The clerk was definitely not a morning person. She seemed truly annoyed that we were there.

The donuts were decent, but the service was pretty bad. My first time going there the lady seemed annoyed with me and impatient. It wasn't a pleasant experience. The cost wasn't bad, about the same as Lowe's, but the service is what has stopped me from returning.

We love our variety and the Alamo donuts does not disappoint. There are enough choices for a family of 6 to choose a pretty dozen and the fritters and longboys were fresh too. The only thing I thought odd was the clerk seemed really sad both times I have gone here. I hope that they were just off days........

What can I say? They have great donuts, and it is a popular place, so if you want your choice or a good variety, go early.

Go early if you want some variety. They are so good that they usually sell out by noon on Sundays. The prices are cheap too. The only complaint I have is that the older employee that works there is really grumpy. Do not buy the coffee here it is terrible. Go next store to Hastings if you need coffee. The... More

We were coming back from Cloudcroft and saw Alamo Donuts on our way out of town. Even though it was the afternoon, the donuts tasted fresh, although there were few donuts left. The cream in the cream-filled was delicious and I'm not a big fan of cream-filled donuts. They had an apple fritter that was also really good. Tasted better... More
