Classy Place especially in Alamogordo

Nice quiet upscale restaurant. The food was above average and presented well. We had a pleasant and efficient waitress. Diners wore a variety of clothing styles so dress up if you like but don't worry if you're wearing shorts and a T Shirt

We thought that a different restaurant was there, but we got more then we expected. The food was fresh, presentation was awesome and the service was exceptional. We will definitely make the hour drive to return. Plus the best shrimp pasta I have eaten in a long time

We had a group attend for lunch and the atmosphere is very calming. My husband had the steak with potatoes and spinach (he said very good) and I had their Chicken Salad-Salad. It was excellent to me. I love a good chicken salad recipe.

I always feel underdressed when I go but I usually go wearing a Tshirt and shorts, the owner is very nice. The food is really good. I think I had ordered duck and it was very tasty and something I've never eaten before. I'd go here for a romantic formal dinner or a formal business dinner.

No alcohol served. In transition to new ownership. No liquor license. We did not stay. Would be nice to have a glass of wine with dinner

We tried this because some of the Tripadvisor reviews were good. First of all, it's pricy--$16.50 for the least expensive entree, which is a bit above our budget. Second, the sirloin steak I got was so tough I couldn't chew most of it. However, the salad was great--nice assorted greens, some tomatoes, some cucumbers and the sweet balsamic dressing was... Elegant and friendly, Stella Vita is not like anywhere else I've been in Alamogordo. A proper European style restaurant, smartly appointed and no blaring TV's, just your party, the very helpful staff and good food. The menu is compact, but our group would certainly recommend the stuffed mushrooms, soups, and steak or duck entrees. All of the dishes were high... More

I have lived in Alamogordo for 3 years and this was my first time at Stella Vita...wish I would've found this place sooner! The room itself is tastefully decorated with lovely lighting (no harsh, bright, fluorescence bulbs); only thing needing an upgrade are the cafeteria style chairs. We had stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were delicious followed by... More

Stella Vita's advertises as a dinning restaurant, however not Friday night. We had early reservations and there was only 2 other tables being served. My wife's soup was so salty she couldn't eat it, the rest of her meal (ribeye) was just okay.... I ordered the filet which was just okay too and the sides came at just better than... More

This was one of the darkest/ dreariest restaurants in which we have dined anywhere on the planet, giving new meaning to minimalism. The lighting was like being in a dungeon and there are no windows in this restaurant if you happen to be claustrophobic. The interior palette was boring tan and brown with no other color, design or interest anywhere... More
