We have found sweets in India to be sickly sweet but those from Sai sweets were just a bit sweet so the flavour and texture could come through. Friendly staff and cheap cause you can a couple in a bag and not a whole box.

We stayed in the hotel above Sai Sweets - and what a treat this place is for breakfast! The channa bhatura is top notch for a filling breakfast/brunch and the sweets are fantastic. Don't miss out on the chai either! Great value for money and decent canteen style service as well.

I dropped in into this sweets in order to try the sweet samosa and chana bhatula as recommended in the Lonely Planet. Unfortunately, there is no sweet samosa available and no more chana bhatula when I went there in the afternoon. Only small range of sweets are available

I have been buying stuff from here for years. The prices are not high but the quality is good. Try their sweets.

Overpriced sweets (maybe I was overcharged) and was not the best that I've tasted in India in my opinion. Nice packaging though - pretty logo.

this is a humble little place, which mainly serves sweets. we also had food from the "snack menu", which was more than enough to count as a filling meal. the food was tasty, and the breakfast thali very good! service nice, low prices, and the sweets very good too! would absolutely recommend this place.

I have a very sweet tooth and am a big fan of Indian sweets. When I realised that we would be staying in the hotel above Sai Sweets I got very excited as I'd heard about their excellent reputation. I wasn't disappointed. I had Rajbhog, Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai. It was all absolutely delicious but the Ras Malai was... More

Sai Sweets is one of the oldest and most reputed sweets in Chandigarh, they have the most authentic sweets in limited quantity so as fresh is available at all the times, Chole-Bhature is their signature dish and must have, Samosa, kachori is also good and chat-papri is just to the perfection.
